I've cried too Nili, over a rare creature. I feel your pain. It hurts when you see it taken or think your've seen someone just take something you've been searching for. Esspecially when its been months of searching.

You are a paying customer, as you said, and you have a right to be satisfied with your purchase of this game and the content within it. Your fun is being ruined by some fat 50 year old virgin who gets off from having that mount on every single character, one after the other, and not giving you a look in. It's disgraceful behavior from an EX Guildy.

So let's see. You camp for hours upon hours every day. For three months. This guy appears for a couple of hours and gets it right away. I cannot believe this shit. I really can't. He has three Aeonaxx mounts now and you have none. I haven't heard of such bullshit behaviour in ages. That guy is a monster. What a sad, old piece of work. And as Ata said, probably a fat old virgin too, I wouldn't be surprised. Continue to report him until you are satisfied, this is bullshit and cannot continue to happen. He must have been speedhacking if he got there before you as well. Botting is a good enough reason for someone to get a ban, nevermind harassing someone as well. He deserves a perma ban for sure.

And report that GM as well, such disgraceful behaviour from a GM. I'm glad you took those screenshots, keep them, upload them and show them to another GM if you must. Or post a complaint on the forums, something like that. No GM should act like that towards a paying customer, and what a crap job he was doing judging by those screenshots. I hope he gets fired.

I suggest taking a break for now, Nili. You've gone through some of the worst possible camping shit ever, you need a fresh start to camping if you ask me. Take a break, come back in a while.

I'm going to take a nice long break, only going to deepholm to fish and check on Pebble.
I might turn this into my ''I love my warlock for a week'' thread as she's questing instead of dungeon spamming. I'll make up my mind for sure tomorrow. But, a week long break is definitely what I need.

My husband is going to help me send in an eloquent report against that GM tomorrow. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who thinks ''The Other Guy'' (can I name and shame him yet? Oh please oh please? ) and this GM were total douchebags. I couldn't have gotten this far into the camp without this community, I love you all. <3

Oh also, one of my officers is in the hospital today, please send positive thoughts his way. When his friend logged on his account and said ''this isn't spesh'' I nearly panicked and cried. This guy is the sweetest thing in the world. We've met in person, and he stayed in our home for a month when his own mother pushed him out. He would have been homeless without our help. We really bonded during those 4 weeks and it was partially his idea for me to try camping this drake. So, please send whatever you can his way, all positive energy. I love him as I would my own brother.

I don't know where to begin when it comes to reporting this GM. Part of me just wants to not report him because he realized he did wrong and jobs are hard to come by with our ''double dip recession''.. I should know..I had a part time job for a while, but that fell through and I'm still looking for work...and more and more people are being laid off in the UK. So, I feel like it would be the right thing to do, to let it slide. But, the other part of me, the prideful side..is telling me to report him and get him fired. But, I also feel like that's the wrong thing.

I went to sleep last night with a clear head.. sure it irks me that this guy had to cheat to beat me..but that says something about how incredibly jealous he is of me. I've got an active, loving guild. I have a husband. I have a vibrant amazing life. Ingame, I raid often, I have opportunities to achieve more than he could even dream of. I work hard for my mounts, my companions, I have all Wotlk+ rare pets. I am good at what I do ingame. I am kind and loving, even after all that's happened in my lifetime. He probably went ''IN YOUR FACE BITCH'' in Danish when he mounted it. But, when I finally land my first and only Aeonaxx, it will be because I have earned him...and that, my friends, is what will make him the most special drake in all the world. He will be my gold medal, and I'm starting to think Aero isn't a fitting enough name for this achievement that I will ..achieve.. lol! I've got the most wonderful support group here on Petopia, I've got the world's most amazing guild (and I'm not saying that because I'm the leader!). This guy is jealous. I'll wait until he's out of deepholm then go to get my own. He can have his mounts, but he can't harm my life, he can't touch my friends, he can't impact my game after he gets his 4th Aeonaxx.

But, I checked his armory. Apparently if you speed hack and get reported for it, you get to keep your mount! Awesome! If I didn't have morals, if I didn't live my life by the rules of Karma, I'd totally sign up for that! But, I won't. I believe fully in Karma and he will get what's coming to him TENFOLD..more if that. I feel sorry for the people who he pushed out of the way for Poseidus and Time Lost, 4 of them, one for each of his alts. I bet he botted and speedhacked and thought he was so clever when he farmed them. This guy claimed there were patterns for each spawn, he thought he was so fucking smart. Guess what, dude..random is just that...RANDOM. I hope when he gets this last Aeonaxx that he disappears from my sight. I hope no one else has to deal with his douchebaggery. I plan to even tell that other horde stacker today what this guy is capable of doing..all for the sake of a pixel. Who knows, when I warn this guy, it may be the start of a friendship and he'll stop stacking on me.


Zhuge, thank you for the banner. I've added it to my front page and I cherish it, I really do. I love everyone's artwork that they've given to me. I appreciate all the support I've received from my guildies and petopian friends. I honestly could have never done this without you all.

I'm not sure how long it will take him to get his 4th Aeonaxx, until then I'll be having a break.

It is amazing how you still stand after all you have been through. Karma will get him. People ninjaing mounts even after stated group loot rules will keep their mounts also. It really sucks, and I don't see why they shouldn't do proper justice.

No, but the double dip recession isn't only in the UK, it's impacting the entire world and it's economies right now. Even Kitty and I are short on funds, I'm not allowed to buy him a christmas present.. but I'll figure something out!

I didn't buy presents to anyone last year, and with barely enough money to live so I know the situation. This year however, I have nothing I need to use money on so I feel rich. My bf can expect a huuuge present. I love giving that way.

But, if you report him and have him fired, it would open up a spot for me to apply for GM.

Jokes aside, even if he saw his mistake, his superiors should know, I think. He might have been a little set off by the bluntness of your replies and therefore realized what he had done. A lot of people ticketing are jellyheads, so a real person did perhaps surprise him when she spoke back.

To whom it may concern



I spoke to a GM last night (3/11/11) after submitting 2 tickets relating to the same player. The first was related to a suspicion of them using 3rd party software or something similar in order to move faster than other players, and the second was related to what I feel constitutes reasonable harassment of me by the same player.



I have attached a series of screenshots which show the conversation that I had with the GM, and as a result of this conversation I am contacting you here as I was extremely dissatisfied and upset with how he handled the situation.

The GM first of all didn’t mention specifically which issue he was coming to speak to me about, and then when he did reveal that it was relating to the harassment ticket, he went on to tell me that I cannot claim a monster as my own, and made no reference whatsoever to the ticket I submitted pertaining to harassment. If he had read the ticket he would have known 2 things i) That I was complaining about the actions of a player constituting what to me felt like harassment, and ii) that I was clearly upset by what had happened as well as what had been happening (as one would be when someone appeared to speedhack to beat me to the capture of a mount I had been camping for 3 months for – but that’s immaterial)



I’m not stupid, I’m well aware that I cannot claim any more right to a random spawn than anyone else, but likewise, when I pointed this out to him, and questioned his interpretation of the ticket, he became extremely callous and blasé with me.



My previous dealings regarding any matters (regardless of whether I agreed with the outcome or not) have always been dealt with by the GM’s with the utmost professionalism and this is why I am reporting this because it seems like such a large deviation from the normal standard of service that is provided by the GM’s. My concern in this matter is twofold, in that i) The GM has marked my submitted harassment ticket as “just another girl whining with sour grapes because she lost out on a mount” so as a result nothing will get done about a player who has (I feel) been harassing me; and ii) That someone else in a similar position to me might get the same GM with the same attitude towards them and whereas I am fortunate that I have a circle of friends for support, she may not and it would make being on the receiving end of this kind of behaviour an extremely unpleasant experience for her (or him). When I report harassment, it is because I genuinely feel that I am being harassed, and clearly that is a distressing subject; I appreciate that the GM might not believe that I am being harassed, but the least he could do is take the time to actually read the ticket I submitted and understand the complaint I am making before giving me an answer that has nothing to do with the ticket I made, mocking me when I pointed out his error, and then asking to start over after basically saying he should have just given me a ‘standard response’.



I’m well aware that this message will probably fall on deaf ears, but I just wanted to inform you regardless, on the off chance that you might take an interest and look at this as a chance to stop this from happening to someone else in the future. I know the mount I was trying to get has gone now, but that’s not what this is about. The harassment I felt is still there, but the difference is that now I genuinely do not want to submit an in game ticket in case another GM comes along and makes fun of me for something which he might consider to be trivial. Just because it wouldn’t bother him, doesn’t mean it doesn’t bother someone else, and while it’s great that he has the mental fortitude required to shrug off such behaviour and get on with his life, there are those of us out there who are not so resilient, nor so fortunate, and we occasionally need a little help along the way. Unfortunately for me, I now don’t know where to get that help from.
