Winter most liekly has thyroid issues

So when i thought things were starting to look up this happens. We were at the vet and he noticed witners fur was coming out way to much to be shedding. So he wants to do a thyroid test tomorrow, she has been loosing hair for a while but we didnt think anything of it since the vet prior never said anything. I am worried because now besides the test if it come back positive for hypothyroidism, which im sure it will, i have to buy her pills for life and i worry about what if i dont have the $$ for it at some point and then she has to go in every so often for the same test which i have to pay for my parents are worried about the $$ factor right now.She is only going to be 2 so its like trying to add up how much it would be for years and kinda makes me cringe sadly I just wish things would stop going down hilll with my pets
