Oh Loque Woe Is Me :(

I downloaded my add-on NpcScan and have searched for him since Cata started and still havent gotten him. I've seen plenty of hunters with him and it crushes me I still cant find him it seem's no matter how hard I try. I love Gondria and Loque because I just love cats period. Sorry to rant I needed to vent my frustration. /sigh I'm about to give-up here he just isnt appearing for me..

Maybe you should take a little break for a while, or tame another spirit beast in the meantime? Or perhaps look up any rare/unique kitties that you don't have and go for one of those? I understand the frustration of wanting something and not being able to find it. So maybe taking a break from the Loque hunt is in order. But personally, I don't think you should give up if you really want him that much.

Make sure your guildies know you're looking for him too. That way while they mine or farm lrather in Scholazar they can let you know if he spawns. That's actually how I got mine. I was camping Skoll and a guildie hollered to me he was following Loque.

Oh,and another thing,I agree with what everyone else said...never give up! Take breaks now and then,but don't give up. Just when you least expect it,they will allow you to tame them. And good luck!

I also suggest doing what I did on Yas when I decided to get Landowar before Moonglow- not to just get a friend in with you to help you stay focused/awake. The other tip I can give is Loque doesn't always spawn near skinning mobs and all that- so just loop round the basin; near the ring. Yes it cuts down the spawn points you're 'camping' or 'flybying' over, but it's best to probably try and find him tucked away to avoid griefing.


And remember, a shiny Addon isn't what makes Loque spawn- it's why I've never used it. Spamming my macro was enough for me.

Make a macro, /tar Loque, and place on your hotbar. I am sure that you can use a scanner at the same time, if that is your preference.

it's all random patience.. Give praise to P. Dawg and continue the good fight. Took me 5 months of random looking till loque was mine.. I never did see it alive or his dead body till one day there he was, and I was the only hunter in the area... Patience

Im still searching and have got my friends helping me look. I figured since I made the post mark I decided I'd use a loque avatar in hopes for good luck hah. My best friend wont let me give up, claims i'll find him even if he has to find him for me himself and hide him lol...true enough normally when he says he knows i'll find something he means it.

I learned this from a fellow blog enthusiast who tamed Loque after a very long search and she had quit looking for him a mere hour beforehand:

"You don't find him. He finds you."

Whether people call it blind luck or not, go out farming for the most part, listen to music, maybe roleplay a bit out there, I don't know the 'easy answer'.
Keep your hopes up, enjoy it. Loque will find you and you'll find him <3

Aye I'm trying that..I'm dreading the day I find him dead /clamps eyes shut..will NOT see it..more Loque rounds today and still no luck... Holding on to a little sliver of hope still

A really good way to get him is to give out a reward for any one in that area to help you find him. Try Like a 300 gold reward for some one to help you find him and keep him safe till you get there to tame him. This way you Get damn near everyone in the area looking for him for you and face it this pets waaaaaay worth 300g to have. Advertise once every 10 min, people are willing to give up the items he drops for 300g

Hey I got him the other day and like you I like the kitties so was a very big deal for me too, Though I was not looking as long as you since I'm on a low pop server its kinda easy to find mobs, On that note I was flaying round SB for hours each day just doing Random Bgs to level trying to find him, it wasn't till I started questing there and decided to stop looking for him till I got to level 80 when My Silver dragon went off I was so excited after having a false alarm that night it was such great news for me to find him,

Anyway my point being if you getting annoyed with flying round just start doing random things round there Farming or getting rep he may appear when you do not look

While that sucks, and it truly does, the bright side is that now you know when he was last up. Now you can try to narrow down some spawn times and resume your search. Personally, I did some quick searching and saw the number "6" rather often. Whether it was 6-10 hours or 3-6 hours (which the latter seems unlikely), I did see 6 a lot. Now that could be just guesstimates, but it can't hurt to resume your search there, now could it?

I say take a break for a little while and head back out there in a few hours. You may find him, you may not, but having a kill time is a great place to start. Best of luck!!!

Go back in 6 hours and see if you can stick around for a while. You'll get him eventually! ^.^

Don't get to frustrated! From my experience being frustated = bad luck. I've bagged loque twice, I had a good connection with him then my cousain thought it would be funny to abandon him while I used the restroom.... I searched for him again got him, but he didnt have the feel to him so I traded him out for Acturis(I miss Acturis.. I wish I had more stable room)and I traded Acturis out for Gondria, then Gondria for Skoll and this time im not getting rid of him...
