Plaguehound tamable?

I did a search but couldn't seem to find my answer.

Are the Plaguehounds in the Plaguelands tamable?

I really love these the more I see them. They seem to be low level here.

Nope. Currently the only plague hound skin that is tameable exists in Zul'Drak.

Well that sucks. But thank you. Won't be high enough to tame one for a while then.

It's not so bad, 74 is where they start, I think. It might seem like a long time, but Outlands flies by. The worst part will be the four levels in Northrend. *Laughs*

Actually, the scourge plaguehound you screenshotted is a beast and is tamable as a hyena. However, they only show up during a death knight only phased area, so hunters cannot tame them. =(

I think these "hounds" should be a different pet class completely...they certainly arent hyena's or wolf's..rather something more sinister? Maybe they would in fact belong to a Plaguehound family and spread a disease thats like a dot on their target for a special. They have so many skins of them and yet only the above pictured is tamable which is sad because I adore the blue ones in The Nexus.

One pet, I could imagine going with a forsaken hunter.

But it's true. The only kind of that creature available for hunters and tamable are those in Zul'Drak.

I would like to see plaguehounds being a separate pet family, plus those that are demons would end up being beasts so we would be able to tame anything other than those in Zul'drak. That would fit very well with Undead hunters.

I may not be undead hunter but I still want one. Guess it will have to wait till I hit 74 then. Four levels just cannot come fast enough for me. Hopefully by then we'll have more stable slots.

I also agree they need their own class.
