Deth'tilac!

Was doing my Dailies on my main, an Ele. Shaman and was on that Daily where you jump on the Firehawk's back and bomb mobs. As the Firehawk went by the Forlorn Tower, I saw Deth'tilac. I wasn't in any particular rush because, last time I saw a Firelands Rare it was Skarr and some mage killed him on me while I was researching.

Got him on Sunday. Boyfriend helped a lot. Longest. Tame. Ever.

Congratz! i Actually solo tamed Deth.! Untill he was like 60% then a other hunter came and dps him down with me untill Deth was 20% and i could tame ^^ its an awesome pet!

Grats! Deth is a beautiful spider! He looks like a big huge broach lol. I solo tamed him as well after failing with several guildies trying to help me twice. It was actually much easier doing it alone as I could just take my time and worry about getting the distance it takes to res a pet without getting too far and resetting him just right. An alliance mage dps'd him for a while but stopped when Death was around 30% health so I'm assuming he was helping me. I wish I would have been able to get his or her name and thank them but was too cought up not loosing him this time. Kiting him around by the quest givers was key as they rooted him and gave me time to res a pet to send in. Took like 20m or so but he was finally mine. Very satisfying tame for sure!

I've tamed Deth a five times now and he is one of the easiest imo, next to anthriss and magria and ankha. Solix an kirix are much more stressful i think. and yes i did my 5 deth tames all solo.
