as i stand on a cliff overlooking an empty ocean shores i realize that I'm still human. sigh. still human. people call me crazy.i see things. visions. of cats. really. they fly. my favorite is the smallest. she has really stunning blue eyes. the last time i saw her she was shot. that was not a vision. it was real. she ran/flew though my camp. a single shot rang out. her path faltered and i saw the Scarlet Red (blood) fall from her right wing. she barley made it out of camp. i caught her as she fell.she turned her head and whispered to me "Hoshi means star (in Japanese). did you know that?" she asked with a week smile." do you know the legends, the myths?""yes" i answered, fearing i know what is to come. the bullet's path went though her right wing and punctured her lung. even now, as the camp gathered around, her breathing was labored. i realized that her eyes, that were usually ice blue, were fading to black. the last words that she spoke were "Be free child of the stars, spread your wing and fly. her body was fading to ashes but her voice rung out in the clearing "Be free children of the stars, spread your wings and fly. Amen."
chapter 1
Stretching my enormous leopard mouth into a yawn, I glance down at my Bonded Tuskui. Her name means moon. Wait. What's that? My ears swiveled around to catch the noise. A roll call? Why is there a Roll call? i can't identify it. It's coming from far away and.... it's addressed to my bonded?! Stretching, i got up and walked over to her. I picked her up like I was picking up my cub, which she basically was. I padded out of the little tree cave we slept in, in search of the origin of this sudden and mysterious Roll call.~~~~~~
Waking up from a nice long nap, i realize that i'm moving. as I was being set down my bonded partner asked if I'd rather ride the be carried. i said I'd ride. Climbing up onto her back i heard the Roll call. i didn't Really care about it, but, Akuma was heading that way. As i drifted off to sleep my mind was a jumble of thoughts. Before i fell a sleep i Murmured "Akuma's fur is so comfy warm...(i has more, just has to type it up)
