Good News Everyone! (Darkmoon Faire)

On the last day of the Faire, I was sitting on 200 tickets. Now, we got an extra day due to a shutdown, I'm pretty sure (I won't guarantee but that's how it seemed). Also, there was the one day when the turtle ring-toss wasn't working at all (grumble grumble waste of 10 whole tokens). You get 25 per day (5 x 5 dailies) as well as tickets from the 6 monthly 'profession quests'. Therefore, that means that it is possible to get, without any of the Darkmoon Artifacts, 180 tickets every faire. This means that as long as you do your dailies, you can buy one Darkmoon mount or two Darkmoon pets every time the faire is in town!

I decided to try a tallstrider on Gypsi last night and went for the blue, but my friend was unimpressed and insisted that I go pick up the purple. I'll have to make that mount my first one from the fair on Gypsi.

(now I just have to get her those last three levels...)

It's disappointing that they didn't update textures or even give them a saddle, but I'm glad to finally have tallstrider mounts! Good work on earning one.

I too got my tallstrider! I did the dailies once a day (minus the turtle daily for those days when the turtle daily was broken) and ended up with 190 tokens.





Now if only they had their old run back...

Oh, and I was going to get the bear on Espen, but I forgot to do the dailies one day so I was short

Back on topic.. YAY BIRDIE MOUNTS! I sooo can't wait for darkmoon faire... Out of curiosity.. is there a list anywhere of all the mounts/pets that are available form the faire yet?

Sadly, there is only one Tallstrider mount at the faire. And it's the purple one. There may be others elsewhere, though I don't know where for sure!

The TCG Tallstrider mount uses the brown skin I believe.

So if you're really keen on a duller colour on one you'd have to spend roughly US $100 on it.

Judging from its name and likely colour, I bet the Lovebird mount will be a new Love is in the Air reward this year.
