After months of herbing and transmuting and selling leather, I finally got enough mats/gold to have this epic EPIC mount made. Its really awesome BEING the dragon instead of riding one. Haha. Even after having it crafted, I still have 11k gold left which is fairly good since I don't make farming a habit. The person who make it for me only wanted to charge 200g, but I paid him 1000g instead, because I have a maxed archaeologist and I know farming it is HELL! I still haven't got the damn pattern on my archaeology mage. I also let him know that charging only 200g was really nice, but he was undercutting himself a bit because the average tip for making that mount is around 500g, at least on my server. I haven't met one person other than this guy who wasn't wanting a "tip" of 500g+.
I am now a hunter who can also SHAPESHIFT!

Grats! I worked so very hard to have my own Vial of the Sands made, and I know how much work it is. I love being able to be my own mount (and how guildies jump on my back whenever they can). By far, it's my favorite dragon mount in the game.
I honestly still prefer the Onyx Netherwing drake over all others, but I just can't face the boredom of farming yet another toon to exalted with Netherwing, so I got the next best thing and got this mount, which is my second favorite.
(Actually, my REAL favorite mount is the Sunreaver Dragonhawk, but fuck jousting. Just fuck it.)
