So I'm the crazy cat lady that already camped two time-losts and an Aeonaxx, for my nightelf druid Samskeyti and my huntress. That was beginning of this year. Since then, I've spent my time in wow, when not raiding, with looking for rares, helping people tame them, finding world rares on the weekends, giving advice on finding the mount-dropping rares...
My friend Atalanta used to be on my server with their guild, and when they all transferred off to Frostwhisper, she convinced me to bring my horde hunter, and my mission was to find blue Madexx and Time-lost. I found blue Madexx, made some new friends over there, but never really wanted to join pugs to raids when I had time, because I don't feel like I'm a decent hunter. I spent more and more time idling in Deepholm, when I had nothing to do, but forcefully decided that if I come across Aeonaxx, it will be by chance. Well, I never saw Aeonaxx since I saw him for the first time on my druid and got the PSD. I still dream of the fight, and always always wanted to mount him again, and fly around.
So, a couple of weeks ago, I took my horde huntress back to SWC, and transferred over my tauren druid instead. Originally called Ajani, I named her Samskeyti, as the name wasn't taken, and everyone called me Sams anyway. Adding to people's confusion of "omg you transferred Sams!" - "No, no, it's just the hordie"
I really enjoy playing here, I love the people in the guild, and I decided for all the money I spent with stupid transfers, now it's enough and I stay here forever. I made some new friends (camping hunters

November 20th
I've been camping Aeonaxx very casually on first my huntress, that I put on a pvp server, in a guild with friends from my main pve server, thenI transferred my horde druid over because... I honestly only can play feral dps, and continued this in total for about 4-5 weeks. I never saw anything, but didn't worry at all either, after all, I camped Aeonaxx before, I have my beloved 44:49 spot and I know where and at what height Aeonaxx spawnpoints are.
Fast forward to this weekend. I got bitten by a more serious camping bug, so I tried to camp as much over the 2.5 free days I had, without sacrificing fun and doing stuff outside of the game. I'm quite used to seeing nothing in Deepholm, I never saw any trace of Aeonaxx since I found him on my main this spring. I didn't even plan to write a camping journal but, why not.
I also play at -6hrs servertime, so 6 pm for me is midnight on my server.
So yesterday evening (my time), I was happily hovering on my headless horseman's mount (yay for no wing flapping sound), when a deathknight called Beibersmum asked me if I was "farming Aeonaxx". I replied that I was just enjoying the peace and quiet, and he sais "lmfao" and didn't bother me. I never actually saw anyone camp for longer periods of time, so I stayed at 44:49, occasionally moving a bit to get in range of NE1 and SE1, but returning to my spot. I'm horde, on a horde-heavy pvp server, so I wasn't really bothered about getting ganked, I'm sure it will happen though.
For the first time in a while, I decided to camp overnight, placing the laptop on my bedsidetable, and going to bed. At 7:48 ST, Npcscan woke me up, with Silverdragon going "Beware!". I fumbled to switch the screen on (I turn the brightness right down so it switches off), and see both Aeonaxx tags, but no Aeonaxx 3D picture. I fly around, but don't see anything, then I realize it was the engaged ID. Still not thinking much, I decided, after not seeing any trace of Aeonaxx at all, that it was probably some error. Nope. A minute later, Mr DK with ridiculous name shouts in Deepholm general: FU*K YES! [Reins of the Phosphorescent Stone Drake] So, for the second time in my camping history, and first time for Aeonaxx, I missed him. But then again, he must have spawned out of my reach anyway, because as far as I know, (haven't had time to log in and check the ID's), I only found the engaged version. So either way, I wouldn't have gotten it.
But now, my hunting genes have awoken and I'll be camping... a bit more seriously. Doing it the Angelwatch/MysticalOS way, but adding on nightcamping. I want to do the Aeonaxx tour of Deepholm again!

November 21st
So I just logged in after work, and saw that not just engaged Aeonaxx, but also unengaged Aeonaxx was cached!!!! Now I can blame myself for sleeping through the first npc alarm. Ah well....
I spoke to the DK who got it, he was very excited and said he quested when npcscan went off and the drake faded into existence north of him. I'm happy for him, but the next one will be mine! I also moved camping spots for now, down to 43:52. 4 spawns in reach for sure, I still don't 100% know if you can see the basin one from 44:49 (I know, I should know, this being my 91st post and having read pretty much every single post over the time :-p )
November 23rd
Nothing has happened so far. I'm at work during the day, well, long weekend ahead, Thanksgiving tomorrow, so mainly camping at night. Trying to sleep with earphones. Not very comfortable... Nothing at all here, no other campers apart from casual ones, noone ganking me *cheers*. Time to go to work soon.
I wish you all good luck too! Nothing beats seeing a camp yournal with "I got it!!!" at the end 
I know how dedicated you are to getting that drake, and he will be yours. <3
