Heres the description (i cut it up in easy to read paragraphs)

Several scales cover this strange egg, and its shell is cold to the touch.

Every now and again, stories spread through nearby villages like wildfire. Eventually the gossip reaches The Keep. What appears to be nothing more than idle talk to the villagers is occasionally truly magical, and magi leave to investigate. One such recent tale is an account of how a traveler found himself lost in a snowy wood, with night fast approaching. The man was far from home and was sure to be the victim of either hungry wolves or the bitter cold. Suddenly, the weary journeyer found himself on the edge of a meadow, with a full moon showing through the falling snow.

It was a beautiful sight, and the clearing seemed almost to glow from the light of the moon. The man decided to stop and rest for a while. After only a few moments, a beautiful creature appeared before him, walking across the newly fallen snow but leaving no mark. The description of the creature matched that of a kirin, the magi deduced, but a kirin like no one had ever seen. Instead of warm colors, the kirin seemed to be a part of winter itself, pale colors barely discernable from the snow. The kirin lead the astonished traveler for miles and miles, all the way to the edge of the nearest town.

The man gasped with relief at the sight of the village's lights, but when he turned to thank the creature, it was gone as if it had never been. Upon hearing the story, many magi set out to find the marvelous kirin, but no one could find any trace of it – until one foolish young magi found himself beset upon by an angry bear. A kirin – perhaps the same one – arrived just in time and allowed the magi to ride away to safety. The fortunate youth survived and returned to The Keep with not one, but three of the rare eggs. This was a huge feat, for a kirin is impossible to find if it does not wish to be found.

By the descriptions, its a scaled (possibly large armor like segmented scales or perhaps scales like the ones on the forearms of Alphyns) and its a winter-type so it wont be bright and colorful but much more muted and possibly may look much different then the other Kirins, perhaps even without antlers since deer by nature lose their antlers in the winter... these kirins might reflect that. And THAT IS GORGEOUS I LOVE THE HATCHIES!

Beautiful, but not really calling me. I like the old Kirins more. Maybe it's the colors?

Kinda wished the Kirin would actually look like...Kirin lol. Yeah, I kinda like the older one a lil better too...the markings aren't that great to me on this. The mane too.

The anatomy is screwing with me. Definitely not picking one up just because of that. The body looks all wrong, and the legs...

Oh wow, mmm, im gonna have to see the gold one grown up, i personally do really love this guy but id have to see both adult colors... and if theres different sprites for each gender (which i doubt)

It's the neck and mane throwing me off the most...the whole body is too sleek for my liking.

i have a character thats a lion with long WoW wyvern ears, a very thick and long mane like the kirin, as long as the kirins actually, and theres hair that covers one side of his face which is very long as well, and he has long angel wings and a scaled lizard-like tail that sometimes if theres room on the paper can reach the kirins length, hes tremendously like the new kirins except that his legs arent as long (and the fur color at the base of the legs are whats throwing me off, the color is lower the where the appendage begins so it looks weird)

.. all in all, only thing thats making me iffy is where the leg color starts, mainly on the front leg, it looks akward XD if i can ignore it tho then i will love these things to death

Edit: First ever adult Argaent Kirin live on the stream (and to show them side by side ive included the first ever adult Aerum Kirin too)



im indifferent to either color, both are growing on me but i wont be selling or buying any, these will be the only two i acquire unless someone gifts me one or i suddenly post first in a freebie thread thats giving away one XD
