Rare spawn mount ideas?

The "arcane wyrms" like these:

look very oriental, and the model name in the database ('netherdragon') suggests they were originally designed to be BC nether drakes (though I'm only guessing at that). Instead they seem to have been used for more beastly creatures, more like mana wyrms than anything.

Because of their oriental look I'd dearly love to see them and mana worms become a tameable family in MoP, but the former could probably also serve nicely as mounts. There are a lot of bright colours:

Ooh, I could definitely see those being used Wain. They really do appear theme appropriate.

I remember wondering if they were going to be the original Mana Wyrms...back in the BC cinematic, the creature that the female Blood Elf 'mana taps' looks a lot more like the above models than the more squashed versions we got in the starting zone and such.

lawl loztp hog but yeha that would be badass i want a giant devilsaur and i want it to rawr every few seconds and make pounding sounds as he would move it would be awesome but i wnat a green one and u could call it godzilla or maybe a completely new model of devilsaur

!! This would be a great mount to get from fishing! Would help console my main's inability to get a scorpid mount.

They do share the same Skeleton do they not? I dare say it would not be to hard to implement (hence why I think we got Nether Rays back in BC, they had already made that skeleton a mount with the dragonhawk) and lets be honest, anyone would just look epic riding a big ol' shiny red crab

I just had an idea: a wasp. If you use the WoWModelViewer to mount your character on a wasp, you will see they already have a "hook" for mounting (so you don't float underneath it, but get saddled on top).

That wasp model was originally supposed to be the black silithid mount turning into a flying mount in outland, but it was scrapped later.

Well, that explains why they have that hook, but they can still use that fact later for actual wasp mount.

Ooo, I LOVE the idea of an eagle mount...or a crane?
But my most preferred would be a chinese dragon mount, called Haiku or 'Wind Serpent' or something. It would be awesome if it spawned in a lake looking like the loch ness monster...even though that has nothing to do with the MoP theme lol.
