Cursed Vision of Sargeras? Alternatives?

Does anyone know if there is something that shares the look of the Cursed Vision of Sargeras?

Nope. There's nothing like it in the game. Not in cloth, leather, mail, or plate. Heck, not even in 'nothing'.

Believe me: I went looking.

Looks like if I want it, lots of annoying farming to be had.

Just remember that it's leather and can't be transmogged to anything useful to a hunter.

There is a single one. And it comes as a quest reward. That made me mad, because I had Loremaster looooooong before the concept of transmog ever came out. Which meant: no eyepatch.

:/ I ticketed it back successfully before the rush. But when I tried to get a shield restored for my shaman the other night, well, it didn't go so well. My favorite part was the copy/pasted response regarding DEATH KNIGHT STARTER GEAR and the followup from a different rep denying that it had been a copy/pasted job. *thumbsup*

Yeah, I tried to get a staff back recently from an old quest and it was declined, though I've had that situation go fine previously. I think with transmog they've been flooded with those types of requests and may just have to turn them down now.

*nods* I was more annoyed at the copped attitude, especially from the third person. If they'd actually READ the ticket....

Yeah. I tried and tried, but the reply was the same: they're only allowed to restore stuff that's a month old. I dunno. I might, *might*, try again. Now that it's obvious there's no 'alternative' way to get it.

That's funny. The response I got was a bit different. The item had to be in my character's deleted inventory in order to be restored. Ultimately, it amounts to the same thing, but still.
