problems with petemote addon

Don't exactly know where to put this so thought I'd try it here. Just wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the addon PetEmote causing random freezes in Orgrimmar. Not sure about Alliance cities as I've not been in on my allies since this has been happening. Also happened once in Dalaran. Only been going on for the last 3 or 4 days. Out in the world it is fine but as soon as I get into Org with any of my pet classes, the game freezes. Got rid of my folders and have gone through the headache of resetting everyone back to normal. When it was still doing it tonight, I made my hunter a guinea pig and turned off all my addons and put them back in one by one. As soon as I added PetEmote, the game froze when trying to ride out of the Tauren area on my flameward hippogryph. No pet summoned as I had been flying. Yet will also freeze when I have the pet out just standing in place while getting a drink from the kitchen. Have come back from being afk for a minute and not been moving several times now. Only way to break out of it is to ctrl-alt-del and bring up the task manager in windows and close the non-repsonsive WoW and reopen and it would even freeze again as soon as I zoned into the game. Have now turned off PetEmote on all my characters but makes me sad to do so. I know it's been a bit since it has been updated so wanted to know first if anyone else was having the same type of problem.

There's a thread dedicated to PetEmote here.
However the author of the addon sadly hasn't been able to update it any more due to quitting WoW, but no one around yet seems to have much knowledge on the subject or the programs needed to make it. Since it hasn't been updated it's possible that it is conflicting with something that was. Until someone else is able to take up writing the addon though, we may have to keep it turned off for the time being

Have to say, I'm glad I'm not the only one: I've had the same random freezes in cities and never found out what it was. Thanks for posting this so we at least know what's causing it

Don't take it the wrong way, but likewise glad I'm not the only one. And didn't think about the Pet thread. Figured that was going to be more about "where is this located" or "anyone seen it" instead of the addon. Doh. Sad that they quit though. If I knew more about making addons, I'd take it up myself but not that talented in programming just yet. Thanks for the info.
