A few hours ago I was flying around aimlessly in Uldum, since I love being there at night. Lo and behold, a wild black Madexx appears! Caelan (Kyria) comes out to join me and watch him. After a while she has the fantastic idea to kite him using her pet (pet holds aggro, when health gets low she Mends him then Feigns Death to drop aggro). It worked like a charm, and we thought we'd see if Madexx would go swimming. We kited him to the west towards the river.
After he splashed around in the water a bit, I began pondering. "We must think bigger!" I thought to myself, and declared a journey to Tanaris. We let him reset from the river (he climbed back over the cliffs, rofl!) Then off we went again, and Kalli logged in and joined the party at this point.
We get him into Tanaris, and then I think "Hey, we should take him to Un'goro! He's already seen deserts!". We led him through the lush jungle, and had him meet up with a Devilsaur for an EPIC BATTLE.
Then he went up to the volcano, and after that...SILITHUS! Since hey, why not.
At this point we think it would be fun to get him some friends, so Kyria takes over Madexx driving, I go and get Rex Ashil, and Kalli grabs Grubthor. It was an awesome trio to lead towards the gates of AQ. Sadly Grubthor was slain in an unfortunate incident of getting too close to NPCs, but Sethis was waiting at AQ so he stepped in as a replacement.
After a while we decided it was as good a time as any to end the journey, so we let Madexx go and he popped right back up in Uldum as though nothing had happened. But we knew better. :3
Altogether it was an epic night, thanks ladies for the the fun!
The screenies are small, but with the sheer AMOUNT that I took, it was easier to keep them at a manageable size for posting rather than going overboard with huge images. After this I'll select a few to post in higher quality. ^^
Maybe some other time, now that we know we can do it. I wonder if the same method would work for Sambas and Karoma? I'm not sure how much harder they hit.
