Just Luck or more spawning, Eyegouger and Brilliant Macaw

I figured I'd kill some time so off to the Deadmines I went. On my second run my npc scan popped and Albino Eyegouger was up in the 4th spot so I released a pet and tamed. I thought that was pretty cool since that's the first time I had ever seen in it in all the times I ran Deadmines. With a little more time on my hands I ran it again and in the same spot Eyegouger was, now flew a Brilliant Macaw..WOW I thought well what am I gonna do with 3 parrots (including Aotona) but they are gorgeous so I dropped another easily replaceable pet and tamed...

Anyone know if this was just stupid good luck or are these spawning more these days?

I saw the Ablino for the first time a couple weeks ago on an alt running the lowbie version. I have yet to see the Brilliant Macaw- so I'd say that's lucky!!!
