Guild reputation

I'm just wondering if your still supposed to gain Guild Rep towards guild, if you do a Heroic dungeon as guild ? The guild got the gold for doing the heroics as a guild, but I didn't get any rep it seems and I'm pretty sure I should of. The only thing I can think of doing now, is writing down how much rep I had before and seeing if it changes. My weekly rep value however still has not changed, so I don't know if this is some bug or intentional.

I think you need to wear the tabard for that.

IF you are wearing one of the guild tabards (it has to be the one that says it gives 50%/100% guild rep), you get rep on bosses only. The normal trash does not give guild rep. Sorry.

I don't think you NEED the tabard, do you? Cause you get rep for anything that would give guild exp. Which Bosses do whether you're wearing a tabard or not. Unless it was changed.

The big thing to watch out for is if you're already rep capped for the week. Then you won't get more.

Also, there WAS a bug where rep/exp was not being given to guilds for killing bosses. I noticed this quite a while ago in my other guild. Submitted a ticket, and the GM confirmed that according to her log rep/exp wasn't being given when it should. This was quite a while ago though.

Indeed; the special tabards just increase the amount of rep you get.

As guild master of a level 25 guild, I get asked this question all the time.

You do get reputation with the guild without a tabard on, but it's almost minimal. The more quests you do, the more dailies you do, the better your reputation is. At this moment, arenas tend to be the best way to earn guild rep.

Every member has a weekly cap, 4 weeks generally being the fastest you can get from revered to exalted (if I recall correctly).
The GM of the guild doesn't have a weekly cap once he or she reaches revered.

I was wearing the Tabard and I didn't get any rep on boss kills or even dungeon completion. It was yesterday, there is no way I reached the weekly cap that quickly. I don't do daily's anymore..

I thought those particular dungeon methods were linked to guild groups running said dungeons.
