And your right Ruby, theres two kinds imo, the ones who enjoy wearing the costumes and being what they are dressed as and then the weird and akward fetish of 'getting it on' with other furries. I met a whole bunch of costume furries at Anime Evolution last year and they were so awesome, i love that persons work its amazing! The costumes slightly akward design isnt the costume but rather the person in the costume who is apperently their sister and much smaller then the costumes inside. I want one.. so much.. ;^; im a huge, as they put in their commentary, costume enthusiast. But never will i have the time to learn how to make my own.. i would totally study it if i had the time but theres just no way with all the other things i want to squeeze into my day

kind of a strange coincidence, but today on Space network (Canadian sci-fi channel) there was a half hour show all about furries!

And needless to say, they were massively pissed off at CSI for that episode with the "furries" that implied that all furries are sexual deviants.

According to all the interviewees in this show, the sexual furry thing is grossly exaggerated. And needless to say, it gives furries a really bad rap. While I myself don't necessarily feel any urge to dress up as an animal, or think of myself as an animal, I thought the show was thought-provoking, and made me very sympathetic to "the cause".

If I had the money, I would employ that lady to make me a fullbody suit of my fursona. I've been a huge fan of her work for quite a few years now. Exspecially love the arcanine one she did.

This person makes each costume specifically for the requested person, designed for their size/measurments. So, they do look a lil more akward on other people.

That costume is beautiful.
Movement looks a tad wonky but I think it's impossible to not look wonky in a quad suit.

While I'm personally not a furry I grew up alongside them and there's absolutely /nothing/ wrong with these people. [[Played Furcadia for a couple years when I was like, 10. First MMO.]]
CSI did indeed screw up the public perception of people in that sub-culture. It's...annoying to say the least. My parents talk down about my cousin because he's into making fursuits when I was dressing up like Anime characters a few years back. Is there really a difference?

Wouldn't mind a crow suit for myself.

I'm going to be the odd one and say that's kind of creepy. Not the costume, but just how they move. The legs are all contorted weird and their run is screwed up. I know, it's a dude in a costume, but just the way they moved irked me. It just looked so awkward.

It's well done, but movement in it just looks to be painful or weird.

Yeah, the back legs sort of freaked me out, I admit. I love the idea and the face was perfect, but the back legs looked so broken…

Still an awesome costume, and very cool that it can work on four legs.

Sorry to be a downer as that's a nice costume and all but the back legs still don't look right. I've studyed leg movements to animate them man XD That could just be me tho. It's still a nice costume and someone has major talent.
