This Armor provides a lot of protection

Yes, another skimpy transmog outfit. How is any of this considered mail? Totally hot if you like female orcs. I think.

Seriously, what? Thong-pants and a chain bra. -.-
Part of Dark Magics, lvl 25 Horde guild, casual, helpful, don't raid, mostly help people and hunt pets.
Part of Dynasty, lvl 25 Alliance guild, casual and hardcore (your choice, no one forces you to raid, but you can), very helpful
Come on over if interested (Runetotem US, Horde name Sarantha, Ally name Ellysetta or Valeraud)

er... magical force-fields? ;)

I agree some of them are obscenely ridiculous. More old sets than new ones, thankfully. Sometimes I get the impression that there's a (small) subset of the art team that are oversexed young guys that design only with female models in mind ;)

Oh gods yes.

And... this is plate?
Image

Maybe 'plate' in the sense of two bread plates and a napkin.

And it's called "Lofty Plate" too. Maybe they meant as in it lifts as well as separates.

Rofl.
A lot of really skimpy armor makes me laugh, just because it's so useless. "YES! I can avoid being stabbed… umm… In three places. That aren't fatal."

Though, think of it this way. You're fighting people with huge clubs and even giants. A ton of armor is just going to add a bit more metal to the gushy mess your character really should be after a few fights. xD Clearly, we have force fields.

Those armor sets remind me of this old comic (technically SFW though racy):

I'm almost disappointed that the skimpy armor sets are only skimpy on female characters. I'd find it kind of amusing to transmog my male Tauren warrior's plate into a battle thong.

the second picture is an incomplete set that has no leg armor that can compliment to the look.

Look closer at the attendees in the background. I don't think it was a kids' kind of faire ;)

I'm pretty sure Mania wants to keep our conversations here body positive. It's certainly my preference.
