Another spirit beast - and I may just keep this one!

I've been looking for Karoma casually (very casually, like maybe one fly-by a couple times a week). Tonight, I ended up being on longer than expected, just messing around. I had gone to Twilight Highlands once or twice this evening but didn't spot him (her?). Finally, I decided to look up the map on wowhead (I had the general idea of where he was, but I wanted to be sure). I plotted out all the points in my mind, and the first spot I headed to was underneath the "S" in "Firebeard's" on the map. I saw a lone red dot and sure enough, there he was! First spot I looked.

Didn't know he's immune to frost traps, but no big deal. Taming went off without a hitch and I named my new friend Shiranui (from Okami). I've never played the game, but I'd like to. This is a really neat-looking spirit beast now that I have him, and I will probably keep him. I like this sound effects, too. Gondria is still my favorite, but Karoma may just be my second-favorite.

Unfortunately it was about 3:30 a.m. when I took this pic, so it's kinda dark. Perhaps I will try to get some better pics tomorrow.

Bah, I think I've completely fallen for this guy. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I've grown quite fond of him in a short amount of time. His appearance is so striking, and I love his little haunting growls.

Also, don't laugh at my transmog set. It's a mix of Giantstalker's and re-colored Giantstalker's. XD Figured I'd get "placeholders" until I get the real thing. MC doesn't love me lately.

Ahaha, congrats! That's too funny, it was only recently that I tamed Karoma as well and have fallen for him. You're right, there's something about him that's rather captivating. I never particularly had an inclination to tame him before, but when I stumbled upon him by chance I thought I'd give him a try and he's still with me.

This makes me want to head out and see if I can tame Karoma. I like the model quite a bit. I tamed Gondria on impulse, but the 'stretch-yawn-yowl' is starting to drive me nuts!

Congrats! The first time I tamed Karoma I didn't think I'd like her either, but as it turns out I was dead wrong :b One of my favorite spirit beasts for sure!!

I adore Karoma. The first time I found him, some alliance druid KILLED HIM when I was 2 seconds away from finishing the tame, then they /spit on me and didn't even loot the corpse so I could skin. A total waste of a rare and a real nasty move. Second time, I logged on my alliance toon and asked in general if anyone was looking for Karoma. They all said no, so I logged back on my horde hunter and found and tamed him easily. Got a /cheer from a nearby dwarfadin.
