that's not the point most people are comparing it to the normal mode of the previous tier.
even normal firelands was harder then normal DS it took our guild a couple of weeks even months to kill raggy normal mode. especially Mojo and raggy where a bitch back then.
yet we breezed through DS in the first week. we cleared up to hagara in the first evening we even one shotted some bosses and we definitely did not oneshot firelands bosses when the patch was released >_>
I think that is what people mean with easier.
Here's the thing. Firelands was a 'test' to see how hard they could make it so where the majority of raiders were happy. Unfortunately, most people were very upset because it was too hard. I'm one of those people. I raid three times a week and I barely got anywhere cause the bosses were insanely powerful even if we did things correctly. DS10 is the right amount of difficulty, imho. I'm happy. It's challenging but still not so much I wanna run outside and scream after pulling my hair out and becoming bald.
