Dutch people usually seem to speak pretty good English so they're stealthy like that. There are more of them than you think I'm only half Dutch though, and my Dutch is getting very rusty, but your name is very distinctly Dutch-looking

they doooo but many say its cause they have so manu horrible diseases (associating domestic with wild >.>;;) and many i know are freaked out by the tails or their little hands and feet. others are just plain scared of small animals to begin with. shame really, tamika is a real sweetheart

I used to have two rats! They were the sweetest things. I had some idiots once accuse me of keeping these things 'because they have diseases'. Loads of people can't understand the difference between your typical wild rat and a domestic one, that my friend's rat actually gave birth to, so they were always kept as pets. Sadly, erm, owning pet rats and having three pet cats at the same time can be a bad idea sometimes... Especially when they get loose... :/ Still, I've never quite understood the fear of rats either, they're adorable little monsters.

its kinda like how im afraid of bugs and spoders but i adore smakes yet my dad is terrified of snakes.and loves to creep me oit with bugs and spiders. while they may not be in degree of a full phobia theres probably some level of phobic fear that keeps them intolerable for the person. Lucky my cat doesnt mind small animals, tamika can crawl across him or crawl over his paws and they'll sniff eachothers faces but hes never acted out towards her, even if shes zipping around on the bed while hes on it, he just watches her. quite funny really, he gets jealous sometimes.

I have a rat!!! His name is Biggs (he used to have a cohort named Wedge, but he passed away last year). Poor guy is getting really old, though. I've had him for three years, and he was adult-sized when I got him, so he is probably somewhere between three and a half to four years old. He's up there for a rat. I adore them, though. Tamika looks like a dumbo rat? They're so cute!!! Biggs is just a cream-colored standard rat with dark red eyes (not the bright ruby red like albinos have, they're almost brown).

Anyway, back on topic, nice pictures, everyone!!! ^.^
