I did a search but didn't really find what I was looking for. I had already asked a question about spec-ing out to full BM and yes that was answered.
But my question now is:
If I pay the gold to fully spec out for beast master and tame an exotic will I need to re-spec to use my other pets who aren't exotics???
I still don't have 1k gold to dual spec and don't feel it's right for me to take the gold I've put into the guild vault just to do that.
Sorry to ask if it's already been answered I just didn't see it when I searched.

Re: Beast Master spec
No. The 51-point BM talent allows the hunter to tame and use exotic pets in addition to all other "normal" pets, not instead of.
However, if you spec out of beast mastery later, you will not be able to use your exotic pets as a different spec. You won't lose them...they can sit in your stable and wait for you to spec back to beast mastery to take them back out and use.
