As the topic says, is the HoR solable for a hunter, to get the blue dragon bow?

Morcott's bow has a part of it blue, and if you're not choosy you can use pirate's musket which is a gun.

I have actually talked about this with one of my friends, for the same reason
He said that I should be able to do it, and I think comments on wowhead states the same. From what I remember it's almost just tank and spank, and good to have a spell-interrupt at the run in the end, since there are casters there you want to get rid of. Give it a try, it SHOULD be doable

may depend on your spec, I've found survival spec is good for runs with lotta trash mobs, and just make a hotkey to MD to pet, as much as you can hit that and multishot. It's still feasable to do it in the other two specs, but I've found BM to be weakest at AoE and MM is almost comparable to survival if you have the right talents picked, make sure you have glyph of MD in any case, and may be a good idea to have some things like a pvp trink to break cc, as you occasionally get trapped and may need to heal pet.

I was able to solo the first of those dungeons in BM / turtle without much trouble, so I assume it would be about the same for the others as well.

with the ghost mob packs, just focus on the Clerics first (blood elf priest looking guys), and possibly those assassins or rogues 2nd (they stun).
are you just running it on reg? there shouldnt be a problem on that then

run it on the better geared of the two to get a feel for soloin it, less chance at wiping when you get capable on theone you want it on.

I ran it as BM and could make it all the way to the very last wall. I was not fully geared then. Used a spirit beast for the heals. I wanted that bow and ended up soliciting a guildie. I think I could solo it now as I have much higher gear. Give it a try. I love that bow.

At that time I did not.. my main problem on that last wall was trying to get down all the adds before Arthas got there. My health was ok.. I was a bit undergeared when I went for that bow for transmorg. SB heal is nice, but when you're fighting multiple mobs, a tenacity pet is much better - a ferocity pet can be made fairly rugged with enough defensive talents (although still not on par with a properly specced tenacity pet), but without TS, 1/2 to 2/3 of the mobs will peel off and attack you as soon as you do a mend pet or even score a crit.

I first did HoR with mostly heroic blues and a few epics, BM spec with a bear. The last wall I just BARELY made it before Arthas got me. Once I got more gear it went a lot easier, plus I switched to a turtle pet. I never tried a ferocity pet for that part. Even my bear/turtle had hard enough time holding aggro with MD glyph and spamming multi-shot.

I personally soloed it in Beast Master spec, using Terrorpene (turtle)
My technique was as follows:
- Stand in the middle watching for what mobs will charge.
- Before they start to run in, freeze trap one of the ranged using trap launcher (I usually go for the hunter or mage, killing the priest as fast as possible)
- Misdirect your turtle, and multi shot the mobs. DO NOT feign death first - this will restart the whole instance as if everyone died.
- After getting the multi shot off, feign and let the rest of the mobs run for your turtle.
- Kill the priest first, followed by the second range, then the rest of the warriors. Be sure to watch the timer on the freeze trap
- After 5 waves of this, the boss comes out. Easy enough - just misdirect and stay out of stuff
- After the boss is dead, heal up rinse and repeat
- Mini boss - that big skeleton guy. Misdirect the turtle, and send him in first.
- place an ice trap right infront of you
- Burn the skeleton, and the mirror image of you will be frozen. Kill that once the skeleton is gone.
- The Race - Simple part
- Run to the wall - MD the turtle and place all traps down.
- When the mobs get to you they land in the trap, but will turn on the pet from the misdirect
- burn adds and run!
That was how I did it, and it was fairly simple. I was in... pre-firelands gear and some firelands I think :3
