So i would like a clarification please. does Ban'thalos (the Spirit Owl for those who dont know) actually have a disarm or doesnt he? Ive heard he does, and that its a random occurrence, but ive heard he does not because he is just a spirit beast. I just wanna know before i start PvPing with him.
No, he does not have a disarm. He is classified as a spirit beast and has the spirit mend ability, rather then the bird of prey's ability despite appearance. Hope this helps
Thats what i thought, but people still keep saying that he has the random occurrence to do it. Bah... i wish they had spirit beasts the way they were in LK... i miss Skoll's Moonfire...

Thanks in advance guys
One day I hope bm hunters can control 2 pets at once, and when that day come my night elf would have banthalos and olm for the buffs and cc, while my orc hunter would have skoll and a northrend wolf for the double buffs.
Plus Ban'thalos' (I named mine Istaria) attack animation looks like a disarm move. BTW 5 petopian points to the first person who can tell me where I got that name.

Isn't that a Final Fantasy name or maybe something from DnD?

I assume he's referring to the use of it in WoW lore.
Istaria is also Majordomo Staghelm's granddaughter. So when I kill him in Firelands with my spirit beast named after his granddaughter, I guess that's bad, I use the good and innocence to douse his flames of evil.
