Ebonhold vs. gladiator?

I´ve desided to try go with the ebonhold set for tårnfalk, now that Kahlua find hers perma set.

My question is this..

if i dont want to farm ah for the nexxt 8 weeks.. is the ebonhold and the gladiator alike? i have a hard time desiding wether or not i could achive

No, they're not very alike. Gladiator is brownish black, with fel green here and there. I wear it right now: Armory link

the armor Lael is wearing is not the gladiator from BRD, thats an old tier set from TBC. This is the Gladiator set from BRD :3

I farmed most of the Gladiator set from BRD pretty quickly, but could never get the chest to drop (the spawn percentage of the boss that drops it seems to be pretty low, plus the low drop rate of the item itself). The Drakescale Hauberk chest piece shows up on my server's AH a lot, and that's what I ended up going with instead (same model and color).

I did find that the Ebonhold Gauntlets are much better looking than the Savage Gladiator ones. They are less bulky and fit much better color-wise in my opinion. And for shoulders I went with the Black Brood Pauldrons from BWL because I didn't like the look of the Ebonhold ones.

I didn't have time earlier, but I'm also going to throw out some nice weapon options out there as well. This is my primary transmorg set, so I have scoured the available staves, polearms, and bows looking for ones that match.

Staves:
