Horde with Siege Engines attcking SW ?

I stumbled across this video on you tube, and I almost missed this. I happened to get a quick glimpse of it. I was like woah wait a second, wtf was that ? Seems to be some PVP thing of some kind, my own guess is that's it will be part of MOP ?? That or a private Server ?

Pause @ 1:18 and you will see what I mean.

Looks like private. Pretty sure those aren't horde siege engines. Could be wrong, though.

I watched it again to get a closer look. If you look carefully, the siege engines are coming from SW and not going to SW. You also have the Horde Banner placed on the ground. The only reason I really think it could be part of MOP is because Blizzard has mentioned that they want to encourage world pvp in MOP. Perhaps this is a form of a new battle ground, or even battle match ?

There was some talk of deathwing attacking SW on the ptr it could be soemthing to do with that,but it's likely a private server. Though it does make me wonder about the world event for MoP. Tensions between Horde and Alliance are supposed to get heated. Maybe there will be quests with defending and attacking cities with siege engines.

Wasn't there some point really early on where you could take the sieges from WG over the boats and drive them wherever you wanted? I know I got one into Grizzly Hills at some point >.< Maybe it's something like that--more likely it's a private server, though

How would you even get them out of WG ? The only way to get in or out of WG is to either fly in or out, or port in out.

You can jump down out of WG in a variety of places. Nowadays the demos break if you do, though. Back then I think you could drop down into that taunka village, the one taken over by Nerubians--or into the Black Dragonshrine, iirc. Good times

Hmmm the closer I look at it, the more it seems this could very well be the sieges managed to make there way to SW. The fire could be from Deathwing.
