Glaive Toss
You hurl two glaives in front of you 30 yards, Dealing 1,X damage to all enemeies and reducing their movement speed by 50%.
The Glaives will return back to you, also dealing damage and snaring targets they hit.
If Glaive Toss hits at least 2 enemeies in both directions, the cooldown is reset.
Powershot
You wind up a powerful shot dealing 1,X damage to all targets in front of you within 20 yards (width).
The damage done is increased on targets further away:
15-30 yards: Double damage, Stunned 1 sec.
30-50 yards: Tripple damage, Stunned 2 sec.
Binding Shot(20 focus)(30 yd range)(Instant)
You fire a magical projectile, tethering the enemey and any other enemeies within 10 yards to the landing arrow. Increases all damage they recieve from you by 15%.
If they move 15 yards from the arrow they are stunned for 10 sec (5 sec PvP).
I am not impressed sounds like they took spells from DOTA.
glaive toss? thought we werent allowed melee weapons in MoP ?
HUGE thanks to Makoes, Syleye, FeralClaw, Pingupuff, Karin,Bowno, Varethyn, Ashaine, Kishay, Aki (Täräin13), my friend Marie and some lovely ppl on Fligth Rising for my lovely sig
Well, remember that (1) all the talent trees are subject to change, and (2) the Hunter tree was called out as being especially unfinished. So I wouldn't get too excited one way or the other.
"For shaman and hunters, we still have a ways to go with the revamp of talents, and this latest calculator doesn’t have some of the changes that we’re currently working on"
lol "Y’know, Tauren are born hunters. You ever see a Tauren catch a salmon out of a stream? It really is quite exciting. You ever see a Tauren stalk a python? 'Course you haven't. That's because Tauren are so adept at blending in with their surroundings."

I'm a little concerned with the massive nerf to everything that -isn't- a talent, but I suppose we'll just have to wait and see how the numbers pan out. I -suspect- they're trying to soften the sudden PVP blow (being able to fire in melee) for all those people I've heard wailing and gnashing teeth about it... but I -still- worry about suddenly having 90% of my damage cut by a third to a half.
someday I'll find someplace to host a sig that isn't stupid money-grubbing photobucket

Dito, also I still don't know why we BM hunters can't tame Exotics at 10, it should be a passive skill you get when that is your primary spec, and the Beast Mastery skill at 69 should just give us the 4 extra pet talent points.

I noticed that to...It's like we got bent right over, these are some hardcore and hurting nerfs..*sigh* Just when Hunters were starting to be good. I hope this doesn't stick till actual, Expansion. It would be the final push to quit wow all together for me.
I believe if you can believe out of nothing an explosion (big bang) happened then how far fetched can god be?
Re: Glaive Toss - I think we could get this ability even though we don't equip melee weapons anymore. Afterall, it specifically says "glaive" and not "melee weapon". And if you think it wouldn't make sense for us to toss glaives when we have non equiped, well it also wouldn't make sense to toss glaives when we're holding a staff. It could be like Fan of Knives which also has nothing to do with what the rogue is actually holding.
Not saying we'll definitely get it, it's all still up for change. But I don't see a contradiction between adding this ability while removing stat sticks.
I am digging the binding arrow bit... It will make questing a bit more streamlined! I dunno how I feel about it pvp-wise yet. I DO like the idea that during big pushes the opposing faction might not SEE the arrow in the ground ^.^

BUT, has anyone noticed in the description for Beastmastery hunter, that it actually says "usable weapon types: swords, daggers, polearms, staves" along with guns, bows and crossbows????
So either they've forgotten that they are removing melée weapons, or they've changed their minds.
A bit of palindromic wisdom: "Step on no pets!" Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis I love pets - combat or non. <That Kind of Orc> guild on The Scryers, small, casual LGBT and friends guild, join us Horde-side.

They are removing our melee-only weapon slot, we'll just have one generic weapon slot. The ranged weapons have the heading "Hunters perform best with the following weapons", while the melee weapons have "they can also equip".
I wish they'd be more consistent with what they are leaking about Mists of Pandiarhea.
Somehow, I am very doubtful that Blizz. is advocating the creation of "melée-only Hunters".

Wait, I totally missed the whole melee weapon removal thing. So, I can't dual wield axes anymore? ICKY! Sure the stat bonus for that polearm is better, but axes just look so much hotter!!!!!
