Exactly what happened to me at first. I asked if my friend could craft the shoulders for me on their leatherworker and gave them the recipe and mats which took quite a bit of grinding because AH (on my server at least) doesn't have much to none TBC materials available usually. When we tried to trade the item... welp, I smacked my head a bit to my desk and apologized for being stupid. :D

Off I went to learn LW on my hunter, level it, farm the recipe from the raids and farm those dang motes of air...

That's dedication... ;)

I won't drop mining and engineering at this time, allthough if I got truly bored, I could drop mining, get LW, farm that, then drop it again for mining. But that might be a bit too much work.

The frustrating thing is some of the folks posting gear sets here include BOP crafted items, or items that are no longer in game. I get interested in a set, and then... ouch!

And then there's my own stupidity for not researching sets properly... sigh...

And the worst thing... I spent a weekend grinding 4k honor to get some PVP gear as a starter set to go under those shoulders. Doh! Not sure that I'll ever use it now..
