ok, something different.. a dwarf shammy hunter set...

Unread post by Slickrock »

ok, this set reminds me of some sort of trapper or something... (best thing is, I have the chest/legs/hands/goggles, so all I need is to wait for the shoulders to drop in raid, then go farm the gun and polearm.)

That looks fantastic :) The skull shoulders are *very* hunter, as much as they are shammy shoulders.

I have a mostly shammy set on my hunter too. I haven't posted it yet, but it's quite different to yours.

Updated the set a bit with different gloves and goggles, and came up with a dark engineeringishsomething set...

Updated the dark engineering set slightly... non-crafted legs and shoulders that match better. Only problem is I need a firestone to upgrade the polearm.

I think I still prefer the first shammy set, though the goggles on the second do work as well :)

Thanks!

I'll probably be working on collecting both, as the shaman set relies on the offset shammy shoulders dropping in raid, and I'm not sure we've seen them yet, and the other set relies on the Ulduar guns, and I haven't been able to get in a Tmog run for that yet.

One last tweak to the shammy fur trader set... Colludius out in Shadowmoon Valley cooperated, and I now have an eyepatch that works better with the set than the goggles.

Now for guns... I took a look at ranged weapons again, and there are about 10 that could look good with the set. I'm going to need to do some collecting...
