I keep getting headaches despite drinking upwards of seven glasses of water a day, I can't play WoW, my town has no jobs, and to top it all off I've somehow managed to have feelings for someone when it's just not possible to do anything about it. I don't know what I can do about any of this I feel so helpless D:

Everyone keeps calling the guy I've started seeing "boy".
Room mate: "Is boy coming over tonight!?!?! *wink wink*"
Sister: "When can I meet boy?" "You going to see boy?" etc
... Come on! he's got a name! I've started using it far more often! My roomie has even met him!

Not sure why, but everyone calling him "boy" or "whats-his-name" just.. I dunno. It bugs me! >.> I've told you his name! My sister has been told numerous times. >.>

I always get really bad headaches around this time of year (we're still in the middle of winter here with tons of snow and everything, the cold always gives me headaches). I've found a small humidifier does wonders for keeping them at bay. They're pretty inexpensive, and you can just pick up a small one and keep it on overnight while you sleep. Maybe that could help?

Just poking this thread cause I need someone to just talk at, is that okay?
So, I just told my mother that John's dad is dying of stage three bladder cancer (he's not officially dying but it's certainly taking it's toll on him), her response?..this needs a bit of backstory..
I've not spoken to my family in the states (minus my grandpa) for nearly two years now. They said some incredibly hurtful things through my dad via email...that's the backstory
here's what she said to my ''John's dad is dying of stage three bladder cancer''... ''oh baby I'm sorry''
Like, seriously? fuck off.. not you.. my mother.


You know what. Fuck it. I'm tired of being ashamed of what my father wrote to me all those months ago. What he did was pure ''gaslighting'' and I'm sick and tired of hiding his words to me. Bit of backstory is needed. I wrote a note when I was grieving the death of my grandmother. I was angry and upset and blamed my father for causing her so much grief in her life (he accused her of kidnapping my sister to marry her off to a christian boy). I'm going to paraphrase his letter to me now, if you want to read the full thing, pm me and I'll be more than happy to share..



I had not read this before. I am afraid that this is beyond the pale. It
is obvious to me that you are angry, envious and in need of some serious
help. Today you contacted us acting like you were seeking a "normal"
relationship. All you seem to want to do is drive wedges between people.
You will not succeed between the 3 of us (Your mother, your sister and I).
I see that you have no problem venting to the rest of the family about us
and saying some pretty awful things about your sister and mother. I do see
that your ass has grown pretty big as well. Oh, how did that feel?

Your tongue is a razor. It has also sliced you away from us. We have taken
extra care not to expose your issues to the family. Fortunately, most
already know that you are a train wreck (by reading your delusional rants).
If it was your desire to separate us from the rest of the family, you may
have succeeded. I will have to write an email and do some damage control.
Most of the ones that really care for us will understand. You are painting
yourself in a corner. I am not sure why you would want to isolate
yourself. If you want to be the center of attention so badly, at the price
of everyone pitying you; I guess that is up to you.

Oh yeah, and your comments about what happened at your Grandmother's
passing. Screw you!!!!! You were not there. We had closure with my mom a
few days before her passing. There are 2 sides to every story and you do
not even deserve to hear my side. All you can do is twist anyway. Do you
think you have the right to tell me how to deal with my own mother's death?
Shit!!! I paid for your damn plane ticket with no expectations. But this
is how you deal with that?

There is a lot of pain here now. We are very hurt by your actions. We are
starting to become callous due to the repeated trauma that you have caused
though. So, we won't be losing sleep this time. We are well past that. I
used to weep when you would say such things about your mother and your
sister. Now, I just grit my teeth and understand that it is just who you
are. As of right now, about the only hope of reconciliation would be for
you to send an email to the family, retracting the things you said. I know
that you would never do such a thing, though. You never have been able to
accept responsibility for anything. Nothing has ever been your fault
before, so why would it be now?

You wonder why we are hesitant to communicate with you? Not once have we got an apology. Just a complaint
about invading your privacy. I think we are done for now until a major
apology comes forth (copied to the entire family). We have not smeared your
name. We have not intention of doing so. You do that well enough all by
yourself.

So, I put the ball in your court. If you are serious about having a "real"
relationship with your family.

1. Get some help, professionally.
2. Retract your comments in a formal apology to the family.

I will accept nothing less.

I can't believe I could actually consider going to my mother with everything that's going on. I should have known that this was the response she was going to give. I should have fucking known it.

There was this guy on TV going on about why purebreed cats are better than Moggies. This made me both upset and angry as my cat was a moggy and most of my familys,friends and nextdoornegbours cats are too.

Whats wrong with a moggy? So what they are not pure breed fancy pants cats? This guy was basicly saying that moggys are for poor people and rich people should have pure breeds.

There is nothing wrong with Moggiess and Mutts! Least they don't get those genetic disorders alot of purebreeds get.

EDIT: not that having a purebreed is wrong just comeon don't diss moggies!

I don't thing our manager is even trying any more to work our shifts around eachother. I work 2 thats TWO!! days a week or 16hrs a week. My BF works 5 Days a week (36hrs...not 40 because he even cut back some hours to try to make things easier for managment) and they NEVER give him the short shift on a day when I work, not do they give him (a) day(s) off when I am working, even though it IS possible for them to do so.
And when he tried to switch shifts around with people the manager either doesnt get around to changing the shifts till the last minute, or forgets completely that the shifts were suppose to be changed!

and when he tells us to put her in a daycare...1) whay would I bother working if my whole paycheck has to go to someone to watch my kid? and 2) WERE THE HELL WOULD I EVEN FIND A DAYCARE THAT WILL TAKE A KID TILL 11PM BECAUSE YOU KEEP GIVING US CLOSING SHIFTS TOGETHER AND WE DONT HAVE A BLOODY CAR BECAUSE WE CAN'T EVEN AFFORD ONE IN THIS PISS POOR PAYING JOB AND SHITTY ECONOMY!!

Usually His mom can take Mikayla for one day a week and then its just finding someone else to take her the other (usually a co-worker friend who gets sundays off). But his Mom just called him at work, she's to sick to watch Mikayla this weekend, his dad is out of town at a funeral (BF's step-mom's sister died), and my co-worker friend is on vacation! So essentually, I am not going to be able to make ANY of my shifts this weekend...which means there are no grocery money for the week...so todays paycheck is going to have to last 2wks instead of one...

Unemployment just cut off stepdad today. Said that he was paid too much. It was supposed to go for a full year and now they wont give him any money and they only gave him half of what he was supposed to get today.

Neither of us have work, the weather is making it impossible for him to even look for work since his skills are weather dependant and clients dont need people like him until its warm and hot and things are growing. I cant find work cause im always turned down or i dont even get calls back for an interview. He has only about 5k in his bank and out monthly expenses which is the minimum is about 1.5k so im gonna have to throw in my final 4.5k in my bank thats my college fund to help keep the house if we cant get working soon.

I dont know why im so unappealing to people that they dont want me as an employee and people are turning stepdad down cause of his age and experience. Saying hes too old and/or he has too much experience and they want someone to manipulate (they dont say that last part but we know its true. They want someone who doesnt know how much money a good and productive property grounds keeper can make).

my attempt at a Nuzlocke wow style ended rather abdruptly. My lv 25 Belf hunter and his turtle met their doom in Hillsbrad foothills. the part the makes me really mad isn't that I died...its HOW I died. I was doing the quest A fighting chance and it was going smoothly, fawns become big black stags, stags run around for a bit before exploding, easy quest...except, I did 3 fawns and instead of running away, they all ran at me...and exploded. The first 2 booms killed me, the 3rd sent my corpse flying even further...just...a really shitty way to go, ya know?

I wish you lived in Florida back when I did. My mom was...well...everyones mom. Anyone who just needed a sanctuary, a place of calm, quiet time and just to have advice from a friendly face with a sense of humor......that was my house......my mom never turned down anyone.
