I just did the quest and got the little trinket, I used it on a bear and it made a rainbow for me, I'll get a screeny in 10min when it comes off CD for ya

I believe the trinket still makes rainbows, but Teigan is saying the actual quest item no longer generates rainbows to scare the imps while you're on it.

Well, I did the quest with some friends. I remember me only seeing sparkles and no rainbows... but my friend claimed he saw rainbows. The trinket is pretty okay though making rainbows. (blizz make this quest repetable omfg)

Yeah sorry misread, the quest makes me think of Holy Nova with crystals. Also I wanted to do the Faded Wizard Hat quest chain that starts with Teemo, but I can't for the life of me figure out why she won't give me the Azshara Blues quest, anyone know?

Yea the quest used to do rainbows. We had 4 of us together and made a box of rainbows <_< We spent a good hour playing with the quest XD
