Also I like the screenshot of the female used on the WoW Launcher, she definitely looks better in an action pose.

It does not look that bad.

Off-topic but... When did Oxhorn move channels?! I was sitting for ages subbed to his Oxhorn channel waiting for videos that never came. :/

And I personally am very, very pleased with how the female Pandaren came out, more so after seeing some of the emotes. Look at her face during all those emotes... There's so much expression coming through! It's clear to see how far Blizzard have advanced with their models since pre-TBC. The female isn't too wide and she's not too thin either. And she doesn't have a broken spine like many other females. I was worried they would have trouble making a feminine-looking humanoid panda like they seemed to have trouble making a feminine-looking werewolf but they did it very well indeed. (I overheard some idiot in class talking about them the other day, he said he didn't like them cause they reminded him too much of bears... Wut?) I much prefer the female to the male but to be honest that's my general overall opinion for almost all races, bar Worgen. I also adore the fact that black and white Pandaren have stubbed tails and red have long tails. I wonder if the males get a red version too, I've only been paying attention to updates on the females, hehe.

o: I only just noticed this, and it's not a huge deal but I'm sure there are people like me that like tiny details... If you watch that emote video, when she jumps and kneels for example, her hair actually moves as if it's affected by gravity. Which is something I'm sure we haven't properly had until now. I wonder if they add minor details like this to other races too. I do hope so!

I saw that myself so you're not alone there. I squealed with delight, no lie. It looked so fluid and I'd be thrilled if they actually added that to all the races.

Really enjoying the female /rude gesture. Kind of reminds me of the richer folk you'd see in the past 'shooing' the commoners away. Makes me giggle on the inside because they remind me of me lol. (No I'm not rich, or do I shoo people away.) They're just su pudgy and act adorable. <3

Me too. something cute...maybe a dance from Vocaloid or something.

I'd totally giggle if it was the Hare Hare Yukai dance or the Lucky Star dance.

I like the idea that you can have both a normal panda and a red panda, however, the tails are a bit lacking imo. They feel pinned on to their pants. Perhaps if the tail was more in proportion to their body shape (wider) and longer it may feel more like a red panda to me.

Image

That's the only thing that really bugs me about the red panda version. Other than that, I think the models are great. :)

They made the tail to size, imho. Any longer and it'll be dragging on the ground. It only looks 'pinned' cause...well thats where the tail goes and it's sticking out of their pants due to a hole specifically made for their tails. And you don't want the tail too wide or else you wont see anything but a tail in the back(where you'll be seeing most often).

But meh, I guess they could be a teensy bit longer but I dont want it too much thicker.
