We have clipping issues with melee weapons anyway. So, I dont' think that will change much. What I'm afraid of is how this will interact with the draenei's 'V' shoulders. I guess it depends on where they anchor it. I'll be unhappy if my range weapons clips though my body itself.

Yeah, Even in the picture posted, If you look at it closely, it looks like the Xbow is clipping with her "Panda Tail". Hopefully it wont be to bad in most cases or they find a way around it by having them angle off the body a bit or something.

I think some may be inevitable. Clipping occurs all over the game. There are too many possible combinations of objects to account for all. It's more of a "suspend disbelief" thing.

I think it makes sense now that hunters won't have a melee weapon to conflict with placement.

Oh the possibilities. I think they could go with twohand and onehand ranged weapons, but doubtful that it would happen since only hunters would benefit.
