The talent calculator has cobra shot as surv spec only...
Booooo, now I have to reapply serpent sting :c

Cobra shot will be for SV and BM, the talent calculator isn't quite displaying some things properly.

i've noticed too that i don't appear to have a concussive shot anymore...

The arcane shot glyph replaces concussive shot.

I'm confused. I play marksman, so I never see a need to use Cobra Shot. It's just Steady Shot with infinite Chimera Shot effects, right? I use it in BM, but I feel like it's making serpent sting do nothing.

Granted, this is live I'm talking about. Still no beta invite, as I seem to have been forgotten until a later date.

Cobra shot is the steady shot for Surv and BM. If you are a BM you do not use Steady.

yeah Cobra was never in the rotation of MM anyways I though.

I used it all the time, never followed any of the rotation guides as I played how I felt worked for me. It was handy to have to keep SS up if Chim was still on cooldown

MM shouldn't be using Cobra Shot on live because of their talents that buff Steady Shot as well as Chimaera shot reapplying Serpent Sting.

Like I said, I use it should Chim ever be still on cooldown for whatever reason. I don't use it in place of steady.

I don't raid, I don't want to be the most awesome hunter ever, I play purely and solely for fun. Sometimes, I use cobra shot, and there isn't anything wrong with that.

Theres nothing wrong with it but it kills your dps by a pretty big margin I believe....and now Blizz is making sure you wont be using it in MoP because you're not supposed to be. I guess you may wanna get used to not using it.

Yeah I'm already adjusting there. I think if anything so far, the biggest thing I'm trying to adjust to is not having to immediately move back to minimum range because a mob got on top of me, hehe.

Oh god, I know right? XD We're so used to doing that....so it's gonna be an automatic reaction. Then we're like "Wait a minute....I can shoot it in the face point blank now!"

I keep catching myself doing the same thing in beta, it's just impossible to remember I can stand in melee range. Will definitely take some time to hammer out the old habit.

I didnt play during that time but I've heard horror stories from my RL...she played her hunter during that time.
