Don't Buy Gold

One of my friends in the game had just recommended me a website for wow gold and power leveling services, and he said that their products are good and cheap, and their services are reliable. I wonder if any of you had ever buy gold or other items there in , I really want to make sure for I have little time and money to be wasted.

Do not. EVER. Buy gold or powerlevelling. They only steal your account about a month later using the information they gathered about it. Besides, it makes baby murlocs cry.

I have just been cheated by a little shitty gold site, my gold was ordered three days ago but unbelievably i haven’t received it up to now!!! I have phoned the customer service again and again and again but I get no more response than waiting!
I am really curious that, if the gold comes from outer space, for I have to spend three days or even more time to wait.
I hope that there will be some one who can understand my angst, and tell me how to deal with the days without wow.

Back when he first started WoW, my brother bought himself some gold, because he thought it was legal. A little while later, he discovered it wasn't, that it is a bannable offense, and he never did it again. He regrets doing it now, not only because of a full ignore list from gold sellers that have his name, but also because it gave him an easy out while leveling. He hates that he did it, and tells everyone thinking about it not to do it. He's lucky he never got hacked after it.

My opinion is the same as Saturos. Never, ever buy gold. It's underhanded and dirty, and only fuels those pesky botters/farmers that steal our kills, nodes, and in some cases, rare spawns. And powerleveling? How will you know how to play your class if you didn't learn while leveling yourself up?

Just don't do it.

Many people don’t believe in such sites because they do not understand their mode of operation. In addition, our accounts are under attack all the time, and you may find out that you account has just become someone else’s when you wake up in the morning one day even if you don’t often buy gold.
If they can really bring us pleasure when we are playing games, Why not try?

Leveling is not that difficult, neither is making a bit of gold if you need it. Why pay for someone to play the game for you? Especially since you pay to play it in the first place.

Sure, people can hack into your account in other ways, but why open another way. By paying for gold/power leveling service, you're promoting all the gold seller spam you see in cities, and the mindless bots running around killing your mobs, and controlling your AH. Meh.

If not, if you're for real, go get 2 gathering professions, like mining and skinning and learn to use the AH. There's an addon called Auctioneer from Curse.com that makes it quite simple and quick. It really isn't hard to get sufficient gold doing that. How much do you really need at lower levels, anyway? And once you get up there, the gold just comes with the questing and selling drops on the AH. If you're Horde start doing the black tabby hustle around lvl 25 if you are feeling really greedy. If Alliance, do the white kitten hustle.
And powerleveling...I fail to see the point. Paying someone else to play your game? If you don't like the game enough to actually play it, you shouldn't play.

Do not buy gold and/or leveling services. This is a wonderful way to get your account hacked. Buying gold promotes the hacking of other player's accounts - gold selling services do not obtain their gold honestly, they get it by hacking accounts which they then use to spam messages in the game and keyloggers in the forums. If you get your account hacked because you bought gold, you can be sure you're not getting that account back as Blizzard is not going to help you. They may shut the account down though, but you're not getting it back.

Same goes for power leveling services. Do you really want to hand the car thief or burglar the keys to your car or house? That's what you'd be doing with your WoW account. You can be sure that the power leveling service will use your character, which you freely gave them, to spam and farm gold. Maybe you'd get it back, maybe not.

Buying gold or a leveling service is one of the most, if not THE most, foolish thing you can do in WoW. I know there are a lot of "free to play" MMOs out there that you buy goods and services with real money in, but WoW is not like that. Unless something comes direct from the Blizzard store, do not buy the good or service, it can very likely cost you your account either by it being hacked or you getting banned.
