Note that there's about half a dozen different colours for that gem panther mount in the MoP database. Red, blue, yellow, etc. So it's possible Horde will get a different colour of the same mount.

Might really be an option.. although if it is, it feels like the black one is a PvP version... I don't know, just feels like black is such a wanted/cool colour, that they wouldn't limit it to one faction.. but what do I know I can live with a blue/purple for allies and red for horde If anything, I would've guessed the black would be horde only.

I know people were curious about how we would ride on the Kite mounts and Idk if anyone actually found a decent picture of it but theres this.

It's also possible that BOTH factions get the SAME mount (perhaps with slightly different armour) but from different sources, so they'll eventually have a different icon for both.

I'd post pics of the other colours, but Wowmodelviewer doesn't work with MoP yet. I'll try to do some creative editing tonight and see if I can get it working with the old database

Easy gold. Level mining or herbing now, pillage the starting zones in early Panda. Or, level herb/alch, which you can do without it costing you anything other than for transmute specialization, and profit.

Well my main has max skinning and herbalism. I can't bring myself to do the 'proper' professions haha.

Those two are fine to start. Find a killing zone for some early quests, and skin like crazy. I made over 50k gold in a few hours in early Wrath outside the ally keep.

Personally, I feel like these kite things should fall into the Leatherworking profession. I suggested some time last summer some possible mount ideas for the rather neglected profession like a hide canoe or handglider or wings made of scales/feathers. I think the kite is pretty close and I would love to see that.

The tooltip currently does not list any specific races and it does look like it can be sold.
