Everdeen's Hunt For 25 New Pets! - 25/25!

Searched around for quite a while this morning for Karoma. I saw Sambas was up for a while but I left him alone. Then all of a sudden... Sambas is gone. And then the next minute Karoma is up! Coincidence? I have no idea. But I derped and when I tried to tame Karoma, I couldn't. I thought maybe I was lagging... I was in the right spec. Then I noticed my active pet list was full. -.- Luckily I knew where the nearest stable master was so I rushed over and came back and grabbed Karoma with no trouble.

I named him Loki since his big brother Skoll will be named Thor, of course. Seems I picked a Karoma with flees though!

I've always considered Karoma to be male for some reason, no idea why since normally a name ending in an A would indicate a female. *Shrug* My Karoma is male at least.

After a whole day of searching for both Skoll and Terrorpene, one of them finally shows up!

I named him Crush because it seemed to suit him while Squirt just sounded silly. (Cookies for those who get the reference which isn't too hard to guess!)

I see Karoma as male, too. I'm not entirely certain, but those turtle names sound like names of pop? I know there's Squirt, I used to drink it. And I'm pretty sure they have Orange Crush and maybe even Grape Crush? Something like that.

Of course the last rare I need is being a pain in the ass to find. -.- Come on Skoll, you haven't been up all day... I even found your friend, Vyragosa, she came out to play. (She does that all too often though, sometimes I wish she'd go back home and send out her friend Time Lost instead!) Stop being so shy.

People keep killing Skoll. :/ I keep looking in the armorys of Time Lost campers and last night, when I checked the first time, it said someone had looted his fang nine hours ago. So I waited a few hours to see if he would spawn and nothing. Then I checked the armory of another camper later and it said he'd looted Skoll three hours ago?! Sigh.

good luck! oh, give you a hint, Skol tends to not spawn when your looking for him, but if you go "tlpd" hunting, he might spawn. hope that helps.

I have a feeling he keeps spawning during the early morning hours when I can't be online. (Cause I am mortal and I do need sleep!)

Does anyone know a rough spawn timer? I heard it was around 12-15 hours or so.

yeah, that's what I heard. when I was camping him, it took me three days to find him. he loved to wait untill after I logged, then spawn. I finally caught him by doing a dungeon (got lucky, I got on that was on the last boss)

After a week of camping, checking back and forth, with no known spawns from any of the campers... I flew into Storm Peaks on a whim and THERE HE WAS.

I'm so glad this is now over and that now I have a full stable. Means I can finally get on with other things and stop worrying so much about when Skoll will spawn, haha. Thanks everyone for your awesometastic support on this, even if I did get a lot of these pets stupidly easy! I wish you all much luck on finding your own companions, rare or not-so-rare!

Congratulations! This is reminding me of my bug hunter and reptile hunter and how I need to finish those two out. I might just have to get on that!

Now that it's over for my main it is tempting to make alt hunter characters to have 'themes'. But I still need to level every other class!
