Disappointed with guildmates!

I'm so pissed off and disappointed.
I just need 5 achievements to get my shiny red proto drake and asked a friend of mine for help. Fact is that at the moment my hunter is still on Runetotem so I asked him to ask our guildmates on Quel'Thalas. But he replied "oh, it's useless to ask, no one will come because there's no reward."
He said that they always ignore things that aren't current content or old content with rewards.
Now, they're nice when we play together and in guild chat, can't complain about that. It's not a pro guild, not even close. It's very social, so this is the reason why I'm so disappointed.
Those achievements take really little time now. I don't want to ask them directly now because I know myself and I'm very touchy. I mean, it's a little help that can make a guildmate happy.
Probably I'm just too sensitive (I am in RL, so also in WoW) but I really feel sad about this. I could just spam general channel, but it's the whole guild thing that bugs me. Why being in a guild if then you don't care about your guildmates?

You're right. I guess they only click on the calendar to do the organized DS raid and for all the other things no one ever cares. Doing a guild-HC is really hard. I'm lucky that I can play with my friend.

I'm on Runetotem, if you need help with something, and I have both healer, tank and DPS. And always some guild members willing to assist.
And it sucks the way they acted. I'm happy with my small guild. We can't do everything in the game, but at least we have a lot of fun doing the things we can do.

I'm not on Runetotem sadly. I'm on Moon Guard. My guild is awesome. I asked for runs for the red proto and they didn't hesitate to set up a date with me.

By the way my friend also disappointed me, yesterday he said that I don't have any right to complain since I don't know the guildmates well and they don't have to do the stuff for me (W T F ?).

I'll be away for some days, but when I get home, I'll check with you. I don't play Smyelmdar much so I'm mostly on Triinu, my paladin, or Dorumar, my shaman.
I still need some of those achievements myself, so might as well work togheter.

Wow, that's such a shame. We recently got myself and 2 other guildies the red proto and we've been doing the AQ raids, ICC, BC stuff and are hopefully going to get Glory of the cata raider done this week (ok that one is a bit more current, point is we do stuff).

A lot of this done with a whole bunch of new people too, it really sucks that you're being ignored and your friend is telling you "have no right" to complain. You are in a guild, you have every right to ask guildies for help and be disappointed when they don't.

It's good that there are nice people like Smyelmdar there to assist.

Me and sara are on Runetotem. we are in an awesome BG guild (you don't Have to BG, I don't), if you want to get into a new one. I'll help you with them also, (I need all of them, But I've done most of them on one toon or another.)
