Which unplayable races would you play?

I've always wanted to play a Vrykul. They just scream Nordic Viking, and I absolutely love it.

I also would adore playing a Wolvar. Wolverines are one of my favorite animals, and the Wolvar are just so adorable and grumpy. XD

Another would either be Ramkahen or the cat humanoids that some trolls turn into. The models just appeal to me, especially the Ramkahen models.

And lastly... Furbolgs. I love their Northrend models, and I think they'd be a fun race to play! ^^

So, which races would you play?



Edit: I forgot to mention Jinyu! They're really cool looking and could totally have some really neat racial abilities!

1 I would roll a Arakkoa in a heartbeat. tons of things you could do with feather styles/colors. (they would need a more slender/grafecul modle for the females though.) classes like hunters, warlocks, priests shammans and warriors alread fit perfectly into the race and you could come up with some cool racials. They would however need to get rid of the limp when they run and maby fix up the hunch a bit.

2 Naga. Once again tons of classes and easily thought up racials and i just love the look of them. only real problem is how they would ride mounts... You would probably have to do somthing like with worgens where they are cursed and can shape-shift into somthing resembling a nelf so they dont fall off their horse. >_>

Naga have always been at the top of my list. I love them, I want to play one so badly.

Agreed on Vrykul, I would love to have one as well since I adore Nordic mythology and Northrend in general.

Centaur I think would be cool or a Dryad (Keeper of the Grove (male)), Ramkahen are also on the top of my list of things I want to play, also Ethereal, any Troll race other than Darkspear, Tuskarr, Gorloc, Harpy, Magnataur, and Makrura are all on my list of things I want to one day play as.

First thing that popped in my mind was naga. I have always had Vashj when playing different kinds of "choose-a-hero" WC3 maps.

Then I actually read your post (naga was when I saw the headline ) and yes, Vrykuls look really cool. I remember wanting one when you got transformed after the questchain.. Ramkahen would be another option, because I love cats IRL

Thank you so much for posting this. I remember seeing this picture years ago and crying from laughter.

If I were to play one it would definitely be the Ethereals (Consortium race). They always struck me as really well done with their poses and animations. I like their armor too.

For a fan written expansion I worked on awhile back, I had the Magram clan of centaur align with the local demon forces in order to wipe out their enemies, the Gelkis. The black magics they used to destroy the Gelkis didn't work out as fully planned and instead cursed the Gelkis, taking away they're centaur nature and leaving them bipedal.

Arrakoa. Not so much as a race, but more as a moonkin form. I used to model edit my moonkin form to an Arrakoa sage and I miss that. =(

Hm... I'd have to say an Ethereal, a Mogu, a Vrykul, or a Naga... maybe a Forest/Ice/Zandalari Troll too.
