And Veph, I had a feeling some of those might be your kind of thing but I swear I didn't make them to tease you... they turned out that way all on their own When I mix up colour channels it seems to be 60% educated guess and 40% surprise what happens. It's a lot of fun. The black ones were the first ones I produced and I was amazed how well they came out. Black is often one of the hardest colours to get right without losing all texture.

As Ruby requested, some mana wyrms. I've just made a few tonight and I'd like to post them quickly. I'll experiment with them more tomorrow.

One thing I found was that often the ones I made tended towards grey/silver, and ended up all looking the same. The in-game ones show that as well. Sometimes you have to look closely to really appreciate the differences. So with these I tried to go for ones that had stronger colours and looked more distinctive.

Magenta:



A couple of golds. One very bright and saturated and the other a bit brassier:



Two purples. The second is a dark indigo and I guess it's some sort of Void Wyrm:



Teal-blue with white:



More subtle colouring. Purple-silver body with light green-yellow fins:



Strong red. I actually toned this one down a lot. I wonder if I should have toned it down more. It's certainly stands out, anyway:

Oh my god Wain, this serpent...it's the most perfect thing I've ever seen. Seeing these recolours I even managed to let go of my white serpent in game because none of the current colours come close to appealing to me anymore.

I really want a cobra (in game and RL) in this color black or dark gray belly but everything else this color and this color of greens. Pretty please Wain. With sugar on top.
