Is Buddy Tameable?

If you went to war with cenarian expedition could you tame buddy in zangramarsh? Probably not since I've never heard of it before,but he's so cool I had to ask.

Last time I played around with that was back on TBC beta, but certainly at that point he wasn't ... no matter how much you got the Cenarion Expedition to hate you. *cough*

I'd say if there is a wolf mount to tame why not some others like hawkstriders and raptors (the mount, of course)? I'd love to have that kitty if it was tamable.

Can you imagine the hell that would break loose if all mount models became tamable? Starting zones would be swarming with hunters of the opposite faction...

Blizz should do this for one day a year, or something, make it a taming event...

Hmm, the taming event thing you mentioned sort of brought up a cool idea in my head.

What if there were certain pets that you could only get say one or two days a year? Some sort of event or quest chain perhaps. It would make them rare, but without doing something like retiring a look completely. If you missed your chance to tame one you'd have to wait a long time, but at least you know you could get one again.

Hmm, maybe if there was one for each holiday event... and you spawn them youself, otherwise camping it would be literally hopeless...

I always thought this with mounts, like what if one day per year horde and alli could purchase each others mounts? Say they sold em to some goblin er something whos bartering with them. Idk bout you but I'd love a horde wolf, raptor and undead horsey and i know some hordies like the alli cat models as the above comments so clearly point too

One week a year, if you kill people of the opposite faction, they have a chance to drop their racial mounts.

BGs would be PACKED.
