This is what happens when you say you're quitting on Petopia. Noah goes "OOOOOHHHHHH no you don't!" then makes something you love happen. ;)

Well cant say I've pissed off a goat, nor seen news or read news of a goat killing a person. Read plenty of stags doing those though...including when they got hit by cars.

Might tame one for lulz.

Of all the farm animals, the only one I'm more cautious of than goats is geese. They are nasty (but less dangerous)..

I'm happy about goats being tameable but I do agree that deer are actually one of the more deadly animals. At least here in US. Stags are quite aggressive at times. There's some video on youtube of the tables turning and deer attacking a bow hunter. He's just slamming him around. Obviously I don't wish anyone hurt but karma's a b!tch, no? I do hope we get tameable stags as well.

Deadly ≠ Aggressive

Now moose, those buggers are mean. They know full well how big they are, small you are, and you can't shoot if you are running in terror.

But we need rams. and moose.

If you don't think goats have a mean streak, you've never been a small child/taken a small child to a petting zoo. Those mini-goats TERRORIZE any three year olds who run out of corn :D

Idk.. im just amused with saying "attack, goat now!" the killer goat.. well we have that killer rabbit indmf so.. MOP seems to enjoy the whole "cute but deadly" type things. Proof that you can never trust the "innocent" looking.

I didn't say it did. I said deadly because deer kill a lot of people here in the US every year. More than any of the big scary predator animals like wolves, bears, or mountain lions. I said stags can be aggressive because they can be. Esp in the fall when they mate and their hormones are surging.

Yeah. I definitely agree there. Usually a lot more aggressive than a goat. Goats seem to be able to be pissed but how often does one kill another being? compared to a stag or any predator...it's...once in a blue moon. I guess that was the point.

Just cos a RL goat might not kill as many people as a RL stag don't mean a WoW one can't.

I rode past some battle goats today on the beta. They looked like they could hold their own quite well.

Please don't use the "it's not a real X, it's a WoW X" argument. Anything that is so clearly copied from either real life or real legends, is clearly based on it, so will take elements from the original. Yes, it *may* differ, but this "may" doesn't mean anything. The roof *may* fall on my head before I finish this sentence, but it's not very likely. Using this argument usually gives people license to argue for about every departure from the real template.
Tl;dr, it's a known logical fallacy - just because something may happen, doesn't mean it will - so argument "it may happen" is meaningless.

I'm all for stags as tameable. Not to keen on goats personally, but I can understand some people may want them.

It does not mean it has to be like a real goat. They can make it as realistic as they want it to be.

They should add items of cloth and paper and possibly even leather to their diets ;). Don't want to bother vendoring that useless cloth piece or scroll you just looted? Here, Billy...

Though seriously I'd love it if basilisks and shale spiders could eat stone, ore and gems.

And guys, please keep it friendly. Pitching your argument in an agressive manner is still unfriendly behaviour.
