Yeah... I'm not getting this. Why is this guy being brought along if no one even wants him there? o.O

Re: Sylvi’s journal EDIT: pet/mount screenies are in!
I'm just checking on him like three times a day at the moment and logging off in a good vantage point. Sometimes I Q for bgs and just chill out there but I'm not camping like i did with the seahorse just yet. (5 bars from 85- then the camp is on!)
EDIT:
ding

hit 85 and ran off to ZG ASAP. I have been waiting to get this guy ever since they made this a heroic. Meet Zim

And even the Ulduar spawn makes his way eventually to the Frozen Lake. (my TLPD kill was actually a Ulduar spawn that flew all the way down to the frozen lake).
Only thing you miss out is the Brunhildar spawns, if you have another friend or another toon you can hijak, park them right over that town (while you sit in the frozen lake)
I then ran into him about 2 months ago while I was just flying through on another character (was a brunhildar spawn).
If you keep finding Vyragosa, you're doing the right thing. Keep at it

Re: Sylvi’s journal EDIT: pet/mount screenies are in!

so after that i had a choice. I could go to Culling of strath and try and solo for the drake, or go spend my last 45 min camping TLPD. I camped for a few min then decided to hit strath. got my drake with 3 min left.
Named her Chronodormi

so now i have a few min left before i dc so i go fly back to give TLPD a check and BAM! silverdragon and NPCscan are going off. Its TLPD. I'm sure this time he is mine! im so happy im shaking but then i target him...hes dead....again.....in the EXSACT same place as last time. I had missed him by no more then 2 min and his killer was still there. he had fun rubbing it my face. >_> Didnt notice i was talking to horde but he seemed to get the idea and stop dancing and move out of the way long enough for me to take a screnie. so here is Chronodormi standing next to TLPD >.< bittersweet.

EDIT:
So I found Vyragosa again today in about the same spot as the last few spawns. Since I figured TLPD wasn’t going to be around for a while I decided to see if a certain amazing ghost puppy was up…and he was

also my egg gave me more aged yolk again and so I was on my way to try for the blue proto when I noticed the glory of the hero reward. “Hay you know what would be fun? Doing glory of the hero.” So me and V have started working on the achives needed to get the drake. We are only 7 in so far but it was a fun night and hopefully in the next three days or so I will have my proto drake. ^.^
Re: Sylvi’s journal EDIT: pet/mount screenies are in!
There is a spot that technically covers all routes, you're not on a spawn point though, its kind of by Brann's little tent hut (where the dark iron dwarves are). I would still advise against it though, since I'm all about the Frozen Lake myselfSylviaDragon wrote: I may just camp at this hole now, 3 out of the 4 rares i have seen had died in that spot. Dibs on the next one dang it!

Plus at the Frozen Lake you can talk to Fred, Stan, and Gracie. They kept me company. I'm waiting for WOWHEAD to update the database to include them, but as of yet they do not have Trees listed as NPC's. (you will lose your mind likely)
GL on the Red Proto drake, those achievements are pretty fun at level 85. You can duo or solo quite a few of them. Another thing to go for is the Ironbound Proto drake (Ulduar 25 man achievements). That is the prettiest proto-drake I think anyways

Normally I'd camp at Frozen Lake, but I decided to try the multi-path spot one evening. I camped for a few hours then moved slightly to the right. NPC Scan. Dead Time Lost picked up from the Frozen Lake. Yeah. I've never camped at that multi-path spot again.

I would rather sit on the lake and be 25% sure anything that spawns I'll be able to tag within 5 seconds, rather than only be hopeful that a spawn will make it to your spot. Frozen lake spawn starts out northward, you wont even see him till after he circles past Ulduar etc. Ulduar spawn still super far away, and yeah.... it could be just bad.Everdeen wrote:Normally I'd camp at Frozen Lake, but I decided to try the multi-path spot one evening. Frozen lake and if you have a friend park them on Brunnhildar and you're set

However, this post is about another multi-path spot which also might be interesting for you: http://board.tlpdresource.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1474

thank you =D The only really big tame left for me is the purple lava spider and I still need to do the quests in that zone to get there >.<
I was actually camping at the frozen lake last night and went to check on the hole that seems to devour all dragons and that’s when I ran into Vyragosa again. Makes it so hard to stick to one place xD I have lots of awesome helpful friends but when it comes to asking them to sit in one spot for a few hours suddenly everyone’s cat is on fire and they g2g ;PI would rather sit on the lake and be 25% sure anything that spawns I'll be able to tag within 5 seconds, rather than only be hopeful that a spawn will make it to your spot.
The thing is most of the time there are not really any other campers in the zone . I seem to be losing kills to questers who happened to be passing through in the perfect spot at the perfect time just as I had my back turned for a few seconds.
I wont lose my mind though I promise- I never really found that silly thing after I lost it in the poscidus hunt.

That one is probably my fav proto out of all of them and I want to get it some day. Have to go learn the fights though >.<

Frozen lake and if you have a friend park them on Brunnhildar and you're set
Yeah... I already knew all of this even before I stupidly decided to camp at the multi-path spot lol. Thanks anyway.
I think camping with a friend is your best bet though. Frozen Lake is everyone's favourite but if it spawns at Brunnhildar, you'll never know unless you have some scary gut instinct and decide to fly around. Whenever I camp with anyone else I always stick them on the Brunnhildar spot. I still don't have Time Lost btw, been looking for him since October last year roughly. I find that half term holidays are the best time to be camping in. (;

I went with about 13-14 lvl 85's to get this done. The only 2 that gave us some trouble were the last two, esp Yogg Saron +1. He's a beast even at lvl 85.SylviaDragon wrote:That one is probably my fav proto out of all of them and I want to get it some day. Have to go learn the fights though >.<

No luck with green proto today- more yolk
No luck with TLP today but I do thank my sister for keeping an eye out for him while I was gone today =)
However… Zum took me and V to os3d again and this time V won the mount. She’s not big on collecting though and kindly let me have it for free! ^.^ She’s so awesome =)
I’m tempted to name him Zone just so I can call him Twilight Zone >,,>

ohmygosh I love him so much squee! Thank you V
