Heh, now this reminds me of my fun little time I had with trying to get my netherdrake on my retired hunter. I always found it pretty fun to do those dailies (except I dreadfully hated the daily when you had to pull mobs on their netherdrakes for emblems or whatever). The Booterang quest was my personal favorite.

During that time, I've watched Youtube videos of where to find the eggs (in the island, the fortress, etc). I pretty had the egg locations in the fortress by heart eventually and was more successful.

Okay, you wouldn't believe this, but there was a night when a group was trying to take Zuluhed down and they almost all wiped from the level 68 elite he spawned before he died. There was one player left trying to fight and get away, so I swooped down and helped to finish the elite off with me and my cat. The single surviving player ended up giving me gold for helping him (yes, he and his team were horde just like me, so I had to help).

Well, I would have been able to get to exalted in less than two weeks, but that got delayed because of hurricane Ike (I live in Houston, btw). Fortunately, our electricity wasn't out for any more than two days after the storm. Few days after, I got to exalted and I was playing "Who's Crying Now" by Journey as I was flying on the huge dragon to Shat. I was smart enough to dismiss my pet before Illidan came and exposed me (actually, I've seen at least three scenarios with a warlock and two hunters that got exposed and their pets got killed). I was disappointed I didn't record that, since that was my first time getting a netherdrake.

I was quite upset when they killed Apollyon... That's right, I had no idea they'd come out and lay the beating on my poor green dino.
