When Minipets Attack Players!

And attack they do! It seems my mini pets will attack anything with a red name plate, here are some pics
Here is Citizen Snips dueling a level 85 Tauren Druid (CS is level 1 btw)

Here we are during the same duel (I changed specs, you don't seem to get in combat when your minipet decides to duel a player)

Here is my Basilisk minipet Minigore being punted in Mogu'shan Palace (If I look destracted it's because the was a little red wiggly thing flying across my screen )

They seem to get some of the same buffs as pets

I figured sense he was attacking everything in sight (and I rarely use him) it was a good name

So that's a thing with mini-pets? When my Fishy (quest reward goldfish pet in Jade Forest) was attacking random crocolisks (and getting owned) I thought it's just some erroneous scripting for him (as it's a fairly recently added pet).

Yeah, many of the new minipets go on furious rampages like that. It's....clearly not intended. xD

Today in MoguShan Palace while people were still struggling with the elevator boss, Fishy just lost his patience, went and pulled a pack of angry mobs, causing a wipe and eventually a group disbanding.

Sure, I might have been not terribly happy originally, but remembering this incident now, it was pretty hilarious.

Where do I get this Fishy you have spoken of in the Jade Forest, I must have missed that quest.

My alliance panda hunter just followed the basic Alliance storyline there. He must have been added very recently, as my draenei paladin didn't get one.

You get it after doing the whole Jinyu storyline that leads to becoming exalted with them - as a quest remard from one of the last quests.

I have learned it, but my petlist is bugged and I can't see any /sadpanda
