Nice to see the tradition of FUGLY will continue for our tier armor.

I hadn't. But mainly because I don't recall ever seeing Mongol armour that looks anything like it. The Mongol armour I was familiar with was more like:

While I'm sure Mongols used more than one style of armour and didn't look like clones, I haven't yet found anything that looks like this Blizzard set.

Actually, it reminded me of Shan Yu from Mulan due to the big furry tufts that hang down near the shoulders reminded me of his fur-armor.

But I also see the DK stuff too others were mentioning. Admittedly when I originally saw this, I did kind of think it was just a DK armor.

The lop-sided shoulder trend Blizzard's been having on just about every single MoP set is starting to irritate me.

But between the REALLY lopsided shoulder here, and the crazy horns, this is less "Yak Stalker" and more "Back Problems Stalker"

I will be sticking with the challenge set all the way! I want my feather hat. :3

I kinda like it.

It's nice to see something a little more toned down than what we're used to as far as tier sets go and the overall material (fur, scales, horns) does look more suited for a hunter. I'm not too keen on the head gear but I am one of those players that prefers to play without the helm visable anyways.

This set would look super-duper on my Tauren but I don't see it fitting in with any of my other character's personalities or appearance.

Spiritbinder's concepts were amazing and I would've liked to see something like the "Mantid Stalker" set also added to the game. It's a shame Blizzard doesn't implement more than one set per tier -- a choice in which set you could collect would be an awefully nice bonus to the game imo.

I mentioned it in the other thread, but I personally love the red/black colouration of this set. :) The style reminds me of Northrend gear, and I'm incredibly fond of that era. ^^

The colors are fine, but that helm... and the shoulders that don't quite make sense.

Well, your concepts were far better than what they produced.

Kehe, thanks SlickR :D

But it's easier for me I guess as I don't have time constraints, and dead lines, and the stress of actually having to make the buggers as a 3D model. That and as much as some people liked my concepts, other may not be a fan either, just like how some people may really like the yak stalker (though admittedly, I like mine better too, but then I drew kinda what I wanted too, so I'm bias. )

And who knows, this is just the 1st tier of 3 (likely) So there is still room for a Mantid stalker and a Quilen Stalker ;)

Well, they do have other contraints, and don't want to do their best designs for the beginning of an expansion, however... hunter tiers have not been great for a while. Murloc-man was probably the best of Cata.

The gun in your sig... it taunts me... I can't get a good Ulduar run for anything.. was in one tonight, and they refused to kill Ignus, and insisted on another achieve that requires NOT doing XT hard mode... sigh...

Also someone mentioned the druid T14 looked better....I want to correct them on that. Druid T14 isn't even out yet. Only the Challenge set.

Naw. The hunter challenge set is pretty nifty. But the tier....well I suppose it cant be worse than looking like Shannox or a Rhino....
