Here is my hunter (Zebragirl) in her transmog set!

After my huntress Nerdanel transferred back to a German realm I had to change her name (the name is taken by a MALE bloodelf pala, ugh). With a new name (I'm still not used to it and call her Nerdy) Emerwen needed a new set so I can see her as a new character. I got the gloves from a quest in Stormpeaks and decided to keep them, then I went into Zul Aman and this pretty green cloak drops. An idea starts sneaking her way into my thoughts. A ranger outfit with natural colors. I look through my bank and find this staff from Botanika I'd almost forgotten. I also have the bow from Illidan sitting around only waiting to be made into a set. I also have the tallhide boots, so only things I would need were a breastplate, shoulders and pants. I look into the AH and find this nice golden-green shoulders. They match the gloves and the cloak perfectly so I buy them, then I find a golden breastplate and the tallhide pants and my set is born. Now Emerwen has this new outfit I find myself better getting used to her new name.

My PvP set started driving me crazy with its obvious mismatched offpieces, so I jumped to the season 2 set instead. It's been several days since I made the swap now, but I finally got the perfect crossbow drop today! *hugs Leo the lucky*



I don't even care that my PvE set doesn't match that crossbow at the moment; it's all gone in a few months anyway. (I'll be back to having a pvp weapon for my pvp set, so my transmog sets can both exist at the same time again.)

Ok, here's what I ended up with during my transmog experimentation. My bud Grimlock is also in the shot.

It wound up being sort of an homage to Wolverine's costume, only with Spider-Man's coloring. Now if I could find a way to simulate Wolverine's claws without using fist weapons I'd be set (though Illidan's bow works well for one hand).

With my characters, I'm pretty much doing it slow, one at a time.

I honestly admit, I'm not that impressed with the high-tier Hunter sets. Oh, set-bonus wise, they're awesome, but I really like the appeal of the older sets. ...Well, not Vanilla sets, because they're so hard to get at.

So I go the next best thing, and stalk around BC heroics/normals for gear, and spend some JP on getting some Ahn'Kahar gear (belt and bracers are not really applicable here.




Faux-Dragonstalker boots and chest, Faux-Shammy Wolf shoulders (to better illustrate my BM title), And Ahn'Kahar legs, hands, and Sanctified Headpiece.
Terokk's Quill for my Kiril, and for my ranged weapon it alternates between Gyro-Balanced Khorium Destroyer, Brutal Gladiator's Rifle, or (my current favorite) Dark Iron Rifle.

There's just something about the simple elegance of a quest item from Cata-Searing Gorge questlines that make it irresistable.

So, after MONTHS of checking the AH for Impenetrable Spaulders, they were FINALLY up and so I've completed Syleanora's transmog set!
It's heavily based off of the Night Elf Sentinels, but of course it's not perfect because the set doesn't exists in game for players to wear. *begs Blizzard to put a set in*
But I'm generally happy whit it. I'd like to get a polearm though because I think the polearm I have is more fitting than the staff, but considering that wont matter come MoP, I'm not that concerned about it.
But yeah, Night Elf Sentinel. Have a cape shown... A. because I love this cape and B. because I just... like having capes shown (except when wearing kilts and robes XD)! Also have the tabard on because DARNASSUS REPRESENT! Aaaand the chest piece doesnt look that great but it matches soooo yeah. Since it isn't perfect, I guess you could say she's higher up in the ranks? That works, hehe.
So yeah. Screenshots gogo!

The protector waistband is a neat one, I like how you built it into a set (including matching warp stalker!)

I also like how both of you guys blended those leggings into your different sets.

Don't have it yet, but I have my heart set on this set for my DK. The hat and shoulders, unfortunately, will take a while to get… Uld 25 drops.

I also really like your Sentinel set, DC! I think it's pretty darned close, myself.

And Teigan, you did an awesome job at making those two very different sets work together. The blue in the pants really brings it together.

This character has a druid companion that she travels with, but I don't have the druid's set all done yet so here's Tulip's mog set:

Tulip likes bright, flashy things and she's a little bit gaudy so this set is perfect for her.

For a while, I had Mel in a nice set that was mostly orange and red with touches of yellow, but then I was lucky enough to get the Rift Stalker shoulders in a raid and I knew I was going to have to change over to blue. So what came of that?
