So, later this summer Tor (pretty much one of the biggest/bigger sci-fi/fantasy publishers to my knowledge) is going to be putting their own DRM free ebook store up online. I already use the kobo store, which allows you to legally trasport your DRM to other ereader formats using an adobe program, but I think this is pretty awesome too.

Re: DRM free ebook store
Yeah. I mean, as I said DRM isn't much of an issue for me, because kobo is pretty friendly when it comes to ereader compatability. But it's definitely nice knowing that the publisher which dominates my bookshelf (it's quite impressive.. the only other one on my shelf is DAW, but the majority is tor) won't leave me with all my books being "unusable" if there's some sort of technology shift that mucks with DRM or something, heh.
Re: DRM free ebook store
Baen (another sci-fi publisher) also has a DRM-free ebook store, with a lot of free samples.
