glad to see I'm not the only one who think that crab needed a green version. I remember doing up a palette swap for one quite awhile ago as well. A whole bunch of these ones here a pretty damned awesome as well

I (of course) like the brown crab, but I found the seaweed green one very striking, even though I don't usually like the combination of green w/ purple. You'll have to add special eye animations for the Darkmoon crab

I have never been a fan of old world crabs, although recently I find myself attached to a blue one somewhat. I am surprised at how appealing most of these were for me, and how much I love a few of them. I would have no hesitation in taming the following beauties:

There's actually one simple, mint-coloured moth on the very first page of this thread!

I actually have another couple of green ones I made recently but am not done with moths yet. I'm still trying to get ones that match the silkworms and I'm not happy with the dark one at all.

I'm late to the raptor party, but I really like the tan one. It looks natural yet very pretty.




Also, *snicker* Crabapple! I really like this skin. I think the lively green and pink really complement each other very well.

Two more green moths, with a bit of extra colour. I didn't really try for these. They just happened and so I saved them



And for no reason but because, another accidental moth. This one I call Autumn Flame:

While I'm not 100% happy with these, I thought I'd post my first draft of moths to go with the silkworm colours.

I didn't aim to make the colours match 100% between worm and moth, as it doesn't always work well on the different model. Rather I tried to make them similar. Of course in reality moths don't have to look anything like their caterpillars, but it's fun to try this.

Rather than work on them more I thought I'd post and get some feedback from you guys. Thanks

Ooh, those all look great! Very believable evolutions.

I'd say the only one I'm iffy on is the blue, it doesn't feel like it has enough green to match the silkworm, but it's also harder to achieve that since moths don't really have a colour gradient like the worm does.

The others are all perfect though. I love the dark burgundy one!
