(And please forgive me if this should be somewhere else.... I dunno where else to put it
)First, the time I tamed Humar...
I was kinda bored, and had no idea what pet to get (I was going through pets so fast! This was before I'd got my gorrila) so I went on petopia (I think...
hmm I forget >.<...) but anyway, I decided I wanted to tame Humar. So I flew my hunter to ratchet, tabbed out and googled Humar the Pridelord ( I had no idea where he spawned! 
) so I see where he spawns on the map. Oh, had no idea that's where he spawned... I thought . So I run up towards the tree where he spawns... and there was a mage killing everything in sight 
. But all's not lost! I whisper the mage asking him if he'd seen/killed humar... no answer. Well I run up to the tree regreting even flying to ratchet... BUT THERE HE IS!!!! 
OMG!!! I was half freaking out and half scared... 
so I run up and ambandon my pet (it was either my echeyakee or hyena... don't remember... ) and start to tame! However, I was a noob hunter and didn't even put a trap down, so (since I had also aggro'd 2 or 3 other lions 
) I died 
. Well, I ran back as fast as my ghost would alow, rezzed and ate and drinked til I was at full health (you don't know how long it takes to get to full health/mana when there's a mage killing everything in sight and there's a super rare tamable mob in front of you ) and started to tame again (making sure to get out of aggro range of the other lions, but I still didn't put a trap down... yea, I was a noob ) well, long story short - I got him! I was so happy, and I didn't even know the full extent of his hard-to-find-rare-ness. (No prarie dog even - not even P. Dawg's might can beat my luckiness! )I was all Jittery after that!
Then, the more recent tame, Snarler;
I had known about snarler and vowed to tame him once I got to 42. Thanks to two heirlooms, I got there pretty fast...
Well, it was about 17mins since I had dinged 42 (around 11 of which were spent in a random dungeon) and since I was leveling in feralas (yes, on purpose) I had ran to camp him as soon as I dinged. Well, I come out of my random dungeon, run around a bit and looked on my minimap (track beasts was on) and who was there but Snarler! Even though there was none else in the entire zone, I got exited and kinda panicked and forgot to Hunter's Mark him... /facepalm
. Well I feign death (as he'd almost killed me) and eat and mana up. (I swear it takes ten times longer to get to full health/mana with a rare pet around! ) Well, I finnaly got to full health and mana and ran over to tame him. I was smarter this time and put down a trap, Hunter's Marked him and started taming! I got him this time!!! (Oh, and I had the prarie dog out )So am I just insanely lucky or is this more normal luck for a hunter?
Either way... I just hope I'm this lucky when I go look for Loque'nahak/Arcturis. /fingers crossed
